The highlight of Rottnest Island Diving & Scuba Diving in Perth is the fantastic dive sites located so close to Perth City. Fremantle, the main port of Perth City & Western Australia, is the ideal place to board our boat and head to Rottnest Island.

Rottnest Island is a limestone rock-based island with a soft, porous composition. This soft rock, combined with the open Indian Ocean currents, has created deep crevices, caverns, and massive swim-throughs like you’ve never seen before.

Additional Information

Your Rottnest Island Day Trip includes 2 Deep Boat Dives minimum 30 metres. You must be a qualified diver (minimum Advanced) to attend this activity.

Blue Destiny DO NOT provide dive guides, however, one can be allocated by advance booking. If you’re an experienced and confident diver you will be allocated a buddy to dive with (if you’re travelling on your own) or you’re welcome to dive with your friends (if travelling in a pair/group). We will endeavour to pair you with a diver of similar experience and equipment configuration (i.e. rebreather, twins/sidemount or single), however, this cannot be guaranteed so if you’re travelling alone please be flexible.

Best dive boat in WA - I have been on the blue destiny a lot of times and I have always had a great time. The crew works hard to ensure everyone has a great experience. This time was special as I saw a humpback whale swim past me on my first dive of the day! Lunch was great as always, the crew amazing! Well done guys!

The best dive charter in Perth - Great crew beautiful boat. Very smooth trip which was well organised and run efficiently. The captain was very professional as were the crew. Safety was a high priority onboard. The lunch was great and included vegetarian options. Added bonus was having a pod of humpback whales visit us at lunch! The crew had good knowledge of the dive sites we visited and again ensured everyone was safe going into the water and that everyone came back.

Great day - Devan is a great DM, manages the boat well 🤙. Well-done mate, considering that many ppl on board! He made sure that everyone is safe and happy, and followed procedures. Happy to see grey nurse sharks during the dive. The food was good buffet on board. The dive was pushed back by one day as it was supposed to be deep dives. I didn't mind that the second dive was a nice easy one since we've seen the sharks and the weather was beautiful! 👌👌👌

The best way to dive Rottnest Island - Incredible day out, as always. We visited two great dive sites, the latter being Crystal Palace which is one of the most stunning dive sites in the entire country. The boat crew is always friendly and professional and they put on a great feed. You really can’t ask for me more.

Amazing Blue! - I can’t say enough! I’ve been with Perth Scuba and Blue Destiny over the last 7 years! There’s no one Dive Charters better then Blue Destiny. Well equipped, High Standards, Safety First, Client Centred, Sharing and Caring, Respectful, Great Lunch, Friendly Staff and very supportive and helpful always! If you thinking of going SCUBA and Snorkeling. Strongly suggest Blue Destiny, for the price you pay you will never regret! Thanks so much guys! You are a great team! 👍🏽♥️

Best dive boat charter around! - The crew are incredibly helpful and welcoming! They take you to the best spots depending on the conditions around the island, and make sure everyone has the best day possible! Lots of snacks and a yum lunch provided throughout the day, you won’t go hungry for sure! The boat is well fit out and clean and organised. Highly recommend this trip to anyone regardless of experience diving or snorkelling , your needs will be met and you’ll have the best day! Thanks for another great trip guys!

You are simply the best - Graig, Jo and Lizzy, thank you so much for all the help, making sure we are safe and looked after, it make the dives so much more enjoyable to know you look out for us. Deep Dive Day at the Opera House - Having been out on Blue Destiny many times, I must say that this last trip was of trying conditions. The weather wasn't so great causing choppy surface conditions along with a good surface current. Vis report was a couple of meters. Dive site was the Opera House. Even though surface conditions were challenging underneath was a treat. My highlight was being able to show my dive buddy her first encounter with a grey nurse shark (which I believe she's still dancing over a few days later). Once back on the boat it was clear some divers didn't have their navigation skills down pat or some simply got caught up in the surface conditions. I'd like to acknowledge the hard working team on Blue Destiny this day. Jo & Laura together worked like a well oiled machine along with their skipper Craig and the many helpers that jumped in and lended a hand knowing what to do or not were thanked for chipping in. After this dive a scrumptious lunch was served which I must admit I maybe ate too much of it. Then Blue Destiny tucked in to a little cove for a shallow dive that was sheltered with easier and a shallower depth for the last dive of the day. I'll be back again. Every experience is always a good one on Blue Destiny. Thank you for having me.
