Amazing! - We had such a great time on this excursion. It was super windy so we couldn't go into deeper water but they still made it worth it. We saw all kinds of fish including a barracuda! Our guide did a great job pointing out everything.

Very friendly,... - Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Knew answers to any kind of questions from history to culture to weather. Beautiful snorkeling area and would take your camera (if you had it in a water proof case) and dive down among the fish and the shipwreck and take pictures for you. Had a great day!

YES! Book with Roatan Ocean Adventures - We had a wonderful experience with Roatan Ocean Adventures (ROA). They waited for us as we exited the port with signage. Our driver, Brandon was fantastic and very knowledgeable, any questions we had about the island he knew the answer to it. We really appreciated how he stayed with us at each location, offering insights and making sure we were okay. A highlight for us was when they took us to try some local coffee and food — it was an authentic touch that made the experience even more special. It was a lovely experience at the Monkey and Sloth Sanctuary. They group you off into smaller groups and we all had a chance to hold a sloth, macaw and monkey. As for the snorkeling, we had an amazing time, and our guide was outstanding. I believe his name was Garrett, and he was incredibly attentive and patient. We experienced some seasickness and our youngest (8) got really nervous after entering the water, but Garret was kind enough to lead us with the buoy, ensuring we felt comfortable and safe throughout. His calm demeanor and support truly made the difference in helping us enjoy the experience.
Overall, it was a fantastic excursion, and would recommend booking with ROA to any who are visiting Roatan, Honduras. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Amazing adventure in Roatan!!! - We really enjoyed the combination of visiting the Sloth/Monkey/Macaw sanctuary followed by snorkeling.
Having the ability to hold the macaws, the sloths and monkeys was super cool!
The snorkeling was amazing as we were able to see many species of fish throughout the reef area.
Ann was our driver, and she provided quite a bit of information about Roatan.
Caleb was our guide at the sanctuary and he was awesome and Garret was our guide during snorkeling and he was great as well. All in all, this is a great excursion that we booked through Trip Advisor.
The only word of caution is that the tour is supposed to take three hours total but with traffic, it took 4.5 hours total. It was not a big deal as we had plenty of time to get back to the ship.

Unforgettable Experience in Roatan! - Our Roatan Drift Snorkel and Monkey/Sloth Sanctuary Tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Keisha, our driver, was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She made sure we were comfortable and shared great insights about the island along the way.
The snorkeling experience was beyond expectations! Joseph, our diving guide, was fantastic—super patient, attentive, and made sure we had the best time in the water. The drift snorkeling was breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life all around us. Joseph’s expertise made us feel completely safe and relaxed throughout the experience.
The visit to the monkey and sloth sanctuary was another highlight of the tour. Getting up close with these adorable animals was a truly special experience, and the staff there were so passionate about their care and conservation efforts.
Overall, this tour was seamless, well-organized, and absolutely unforgettable. Huge thanks to Keisha and Joseph for making this such a memorable adventure! If you’re visiting Roatan, I highly recommend this tour—you won’t regret it!

Great "hangout" - The monkeys are so cute and mischievous
They even managed to take my friend's glasses off despite them having a holder on and strapped under her hair but he made up for it by taking a selfie with her. The sloths were adorable and I never thought it would be so fun to be a tree. The animals all looked healthy and well cared for. The guides knew each one by name and personality. The reef snorkle was beautiful floating along the drop off and our snorkle guide was amazing. He even dove down to rescue someone's ring that had fallen off.

Fun group activity in Roatan! - What a fun group activity for our large group!
Ana was a great driver to and from all the locations we needed- she speaks great English and Spanish and gave a little tour as we drove to the money/sloth exhibit and the snorkel stop through Roatan.
The monkeys were the highlight for the majority of the group! After we finished up at the sanctuary we headed to the snorkel company (bathrooms onsite), promptly boarded a boat and took off for our snorkel exhibition. The guides were easy to follow and we saw lots of fish and coral.
The company was easy to find right outside the cruise port. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire time.

From the very beginning... - From the very beginning we put in the wrong port. We called ROA morning of, after our start time, and they sent their driver to come get us at the port we had sailed into. The car was air conditioned, the driver was amazing and made sure we got where we needed to be. The sloth and monkey excursion had a bit of a wait but there was water and ice cream available while you wait. The guides were knowledgeable about the animals and the monkeys were incredibly interactive and seemed well cared for. The drift snorkeling was amazing. The reef is gorgeous and we saw more fish than we could count, an eagle ray, and a sea turtle. Austin was our captain and he did a great job getting us out there, and Joseph was our guide and he was so knowledgeable about every animal we saw as well as the area. ROA and every person involved could not have done a better job.

Great day in Roatan! - We are a family group of 11 that booked an excursion with Roatan Ocean Adventures. Our guide Ana was waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship and everything went smoothly. Ana was friendly and informative, telling us about the island, giving us some options to customize the day and answering all of our questions. Thank you for helping us have a memorable day in Roatan!
