Upon arrival at the dock, our knowledgeable staff will assist you in selecting and fitting your snorkel gear. We’ll provide all the necessary equipment, including masks, snorkels, and fins, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. Our team will give you a brief overview of how to use the equipment and answer any questions you may have. At the snorkeling spot, you’ll have the opportunity to explore vibrant coral reefs and observe a diverse array of marine life. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and immerse yourself in the underwater world, where you might encounter colorful fish, fascinating corals, and maybe even a sea turtle or two. Great Snorkeling and Guides - This company is fantastic! Our cruise ship arrived in Roatan and we had to tender. I was able to email the owner, Herbert Woods and he said "no worries, I am here for you." We walked out of the shopping area at the tender spot, followed the signs to the taxi area, walked across the street in a crush of people and we saw Herbert holding a sign "ROA" just like he said he would. He drove us to his dock and boat while giving us a driving tour, which we appreciated. Once at his dock we met his wife. My backpack, which had money/passport, was left with her and she put it into an office. It was perfectly safe. We joined a group of 7 people and off we went to our first snorkel spot. Fins and a mask were provided, and the quality of the gear was great. After a wonderful 45 minutes in the water, the other group was done so we went back to the dock to drop them off. Then it was just our guide, Garrick and the skipper Jayden. Off we went to our second and third snorkel spots. Garrick pointed out a flounder hiding on the seabed floor and he found us a few lobsters. The boat was easy to get around in. Once in the water the boat stayed away, but was close enough that if you got tired Jayden to pick you up within seconds. They put a ladder over the side for you to climb back onto the boat. Bottled Water is provided. Once our 3 adventures were over, back to the dock we went and Herbert took us back to our ship. The only thing we forgot was to bring a change of clothes. They do have 2 bathrooms (WC). We would definitely use Herbert and Roatan Ocean Adventures again if we were to return.

Wonderful tour, great people, beautiful reef! - My snorkel adventure and beach time tour was spectacular as always! everyone working for Roatan Adventures from is so friendly and professional. They have a passion for what they do and it shows. They love to show off the beautiful, full of marine life reef and their island. Preston was my snorkel guide, he pointed out so many beautiful creatures I would have completely missed seeing!
I've gone with them at least half a dozen times. I've recommended them to my friends who all tell me Roatan Ocean Adventures tour was the best they'd ever taken whether it was a land or snorkel tour or both. I'll go with them every time my ship docks in Roatan and if I were to return for a land based vacation there!

Huge thank you to Herbert and his team! - We went on the most amazing snorkling trip through ROA - Herbert and his team took my family out for an unparalleled adventure. They were extremely educational about the biodiversity in the water, all the species we saw, and made us feel extremely safe. We are returning for our wedding and will recommend all our guests snorkel with ROA!

Fantastic Mangrove Kayak Tour and Snorkeling Experience - We booked through Viator and we're a bit nervous with the pickup and directions based on other cruise ports not going smoothly but upon reaching out ROA was very clear and responsive. When we departed the ship ROA had our tour guide Filippo (I hope we spelled that right!) waiting for us with a company sign and booking name. We were lucky enough to be the only two to book for the the Kayak + Snorkel 3hr adventure so we had a surprise private tour. Despite the rainy day, they didn't cancel which we were very pleased with. As we drove from port Filippo gave a very informative tour of the area pointing out many buildings and other points of interest while we enjoyed the AC in the vehicle. Once we arrived we were set up with equipment some bottle water and given access to change room and bathrooms prior to heading out.
Filippo guided us around the mangroves and expertly answered our (my) many questions. Rather than other tours which feel a bit like adult field trips, our experience felt like hanging out with a fri Nd who knew the area well. Accommodating the weather we kayaked a but further out to snorkel in some clearer waters and it was the highlight of our trip. Better than snorkeling in Mexico or Jamaica for sure. We were allowed to go at our own speed and spotted a stingray and a sea turtle!
On the way back despite being caught in some heavy rain our tour guides demeanor never shifted. He was pleasant friendly and clearly passionate about his job.
15/10 we would book this adventure again in a heartbeat we cannot wait to return to Roatan.

Amazing Tour!!! - This tour was the highlight of our trip!! Roatan Ocean Adventures is the place to book!! We had an amazing snorkeling session. Starting with Ana, very sweet lady who picked us from port and took us to the spot where Herbert met us and explain the details of our tour. We went with Darien as our guide and Gary the Captain and we saw everything!!! Turtles, tons of fish, a spotted eagle ray and beautiful healthy coral! Don’t second guess this adventure and book immediately, you won’t regret it!!

The best snorkeling tour ever!! - Everything was amazing, Anna picked us up at the dock, took us to the tour boat. From there we went out to the reef the water was clear we saw spotted eagle rays turtles lots of fish beautiful coral, Our captain Gary was great our guild Darren was excellent one of the best dives of my life! Can't wait to come back small group tours . Saw other tour with 20 people swimming all over each other.10 stars don't waste your time with bigger tours nice family business!❤️❤️❤️🤿

Had a fantastic time snorkeling on the reef. - These guys know how to treat there guests. Had a fabulous time thanks to the tour guide and owner. They took care of everything from car ride from ship and back
