Upon arrival at the dock, our knowledgeable staff will assist you in selecting and fitting your snorkel gear. We’ll provide all the necessary equipment, including masks, snorkels, and fins, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. Our team will give you a brief overview of how to use the equipment and answer any questions you may have. At the snorkeling spot, you’ll have the opportunity to explore vibrant coral reefs and observe a diverse array of marine life. Snorkelling Adventure - We did the Snorkel Hoping Tour. The Guides were very knowledgeable and really made the experience personal. We saw many beautiful underwater creatures and coral. The experience was truly amazing. I will absolutely book with Roatan Ocean Adventures the next time I am in Roatan.

10/10 will do again! - I loved this group so much! Very informative lots of fun. I learned how to snorkel! Came from carnival cruise and we got a ride to visit the sloths after we went to the the boat to snorkel! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Bring sunscreen for the boat not for the sloths! It was amazing to see the life under the water

Best Snorkel experience in Roatan or anywhere in the Carribean - We have been on the Snorkel hopper tour with ROA a few times.. Herbert and his crew really do everything to ensure that you have a great time. We have snorkelled all over the island and all over the Carribean and I can guarantee you that the spots he takes you too are the best you will find anywhere. ROA also does work trying to preserve and regrow coral. Herbert and his crew are native to Roatan and have a great knowledge of the area which they are very happy to share with you. Super friendly. They will take pictures for you. Drop you off at Little French Key for some beach time or a restaurant after snorkelling before taking you back. We have also done the Roatan Experience found on their website. I can’t believe we fit so much into one day and we were on a cruise that time. Heading back to Roatan in March. Can’t wait. We will definitely be going out with ROA again.

Wonderful Snorkeling - We booked a snorkeling trip while on a cruise. Alean (spelling?) was the driver who picked us up just outside of the cruise port and was very friendly. She told us about the area as we drove to their small harbor. She also told us what to expect when we arrived. Upon our arrival to ROA we were greeted and quickly outfitted to accommodate our needs. Once we were settled and the other members of our outing arrived we were greeted by Will and Joseph who took us to the snorkeling area. The snorkeling was outstanding and the tour of the reef was kept moving along but never felt rushed with plenty of time for Joseph to point out fish and points of interest along the way. We were so happy with the experience we will definitely use them as our first choice when diving and snorkeling in the future. After we arrived back to the dock Alean drove us back to the cruise terminal after getting a delicious local snack along the way.

Great Snorkel Spots - Herbert and his staff are great. We had to tender to the dock and then walk out to the street. He met us with his sign. We joined a boat and did a nice snorkel. We returned to the dock and 7 people departed, then it was only the two of us for the next 2 snorkel spots. The equipment provided was excellent. A nice few hours. Herbert took us back to the dock. He runs a good company, and if we ever return to Roatan, we will book another adventure with him.

This is THE snorkel tour to book! - I booked this tour after looking at multiple tours and their reviews and it was 100% the right choice! Our guide was so kind and helpful. They took us to the best spot they could and the reef was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend booking with Roatan Ocean Adventures. They are a local business that clearly cares a lot about quality over quantity and this tour was everything we hoped for and more!

Very accommodating! - I had a great time snorkeling with my wife. Joseph was an excellent guide and pointed out all kinds of different sea life. The staff were all extremely kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Perfect adventure experience w/Ilene - This was my beat experience in Roatan (we come annually) and one of the best overall (Australia is hard to beat). We snorkeled, had lunch at a local brewery with tour, and shopped at nearby markets. All perfectly safe! Ilene (new) was perfect, she honestly made our experience even better. I highly recommend this tour and the company. I'm sure everyone at ROA is just as great as Ilene! We will definitely be booking with Ilene/ROA this year on our next trip.

Great company for excursions! - My family did an excursion with ROA while at on Roatan for a cruise port day. We were picked up by Norma who is super sweet, kind and knowledgeable. The staff are all super friendly. We choose to do the Reef Snorkel Adventure. The water was super rough so we only did 2 sites, but the staff were great and adjusted to everyone’s comfort level. The reef was amazing. I definitely recommend for your next visit to Roatan!

While the staff managing... - While the staff managing the tour were professional and welcoming, and the pickup from the Coxen Hole port was smooth, there are a few aspects I’d like to highlight.
The snorkeling itself was enjoyable, and the marine life added to the experience. However, I was disappointed with the discrepancy in the advertised duration of the tour. The description mentioned a 3-hour experience, but we only snorkeled for about 40 minutes at a single spot close to the shore. This is a significant difference that could lead to unmet expectations.
Regarding the snorkeling site, while there was enough marine life to make the adventure enjoyable, the coral appeared quite damaged, unfortunately. As someone who has snorkeled in destinations like French Polynesia and Bonaire, the contrast in coral health was noticeable.
Overall, it was a good tour with a friendly and professional team. However, I would recommend providing clearer information about the actual snorkeling time to better align expectations.
