You’ll visit local communities like French Harbor, Gravel Bay, Flowers Bay, Sandy Bay, and Coxen Hole, the island’s first town. Experience the West End Village with its variety of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops, where you can stop to shop if you wish. We will also take you on a scenic drive to West Bay, where you’ll enjoy some fantastic views along the way. Discover how organic chocolate is made from beans to bar and enjoy free samples. You’ll also try rum cakes and rum with incredible views. After the tour, we’ll ensure you return to your cruise ship with plenty of time to spare.

A great experience in Roatan! - My family and I were visiting Roatan for a few days and contacted Roatan Tucan Adventures to help us plan our itinerary. I worked with Sinthia, who was wonderful - she was very helpful and informative. My family has kids of different ages, with different interests, and she helped put together an itinerary where everyone had a great time. The first day, we visited sloths, monkeys and macaws in the west end and then continued on for a tour of the east end of the island, visiting the mangrove tunnels, learning from Sinthia about local life and culture as we drive through the island, and having a wonderful lunch at a restaurant in a Garifuna community. We had so much fun and learned a lot, and it was nice to see an area other than the west bay where we were staying. Sinthia was a great guide.
The second day, Alfredo was our guide and was so kind and thoughtful and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed and that our trip went super smoothly. We did snorkeling at Blue Channel and then continued to French Key to ride hydrobikes, which was a new experience and very fun.
Roatan adventures did a great job coordinating everything and we all had a lovely time!

Exploring the island - We loved it all. We went to the chocolate factory and the rum distillery. We drove around the island, then our guide took us to the brewery where we had lunch and beer. It was a great day.

Highly Recommend The Best Tour in Roatan - This tour exceeded our expectations. My family and I love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and stepping out of our comfort zone, and our guide, Fred, made our time in Roatan unforgettable. He picked us up outside the cruise port in his air-conditioned car, which was fantastic for us, as it allowed us to enjoy our visit to Roatan without feeling rushed.
We visited some small communities, a chocolate factory, a rum factory, and a local market. We also explored the West End area to see the variety of restaurants, bars, and even a beautiful beach. This tour provided us with a chance to enjoy scenic views, explore a bit of Roatan, and experience both local life and tourist spots. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Roatan, whether arriving by cruise or staying at a hotel you won’t regret it.

Wonderful guide - Our guide was super accommodating and took us his own little secret spots. We learned more about the culture and the area outside of the sandy beaches and resorts. Overall amazing guide and experience

The best of Roatan - I would give Alfredo five stars for this private tour we took of Roatan. He took us to see the rum and chocolate factory. Also he took us to the highest point to overlook the downtown area and what a great view from there. He showed us where the good places to eat at and have coffee. He didn’t rush us and gave us plenty of time at each stop we were at.

Fantastic Tour and Guide - Our guide Cynthia was wonderful. She taught us a lot about the island’s past as well as what it is like today. We visited the sloth park, chocolate factory , Punta Gorda, and the Mangrove tunnels in a boat . Enjoyed the whole experience.

Excellent Experience - This tour was exactly I was wanting for my husband and I to do. We like to sightsee. Our tour guide was Cynthia. Very sweet lady. She was wonderful and talked a lot about the island. She met us outside the port with her personal car that had cold A/C on a very, very humid day. She drove us through most of the small towns to see what island life is like. We stopped at the chocolate factory (bought bars to give for souvenirs), the rum factory (tasty rum cakes) and a nice small marketplace. We also even stopped at a coconut vendor where he cut the coconut top to where we got to drink the juice. Also cut the fresh meat out of it for us to eat. That was a great experience. This tour is great if you're interested in traveling the local roads and seeing local life.

Use this Tour Guide and Company - You won’t regret it! - Cynthia was an amazing tour guide. She took us to go see the sloths, monkeys, and parrots. Then, she brought us to Henry Morgan and West Bay, where we went snorkeling, rode jet skis, and had lunch. She went above and beyond offering excellent customer service. I highly recommend using her and her company.

The Best Private Tour and Tour Guide - The Best Tour and Tour Guide ! This trip was a trip of 3 generations. My Mom (who is 80), my daughter (30), and Me (obviously over 30). While my daughter was scuba diving we decided to book a tour. Knowing what we wanted to experience we booked the Roatán Private Tour with Tour Guide /Driver.
Sinthia picked us up and off we went on an amazing adventure with her!
As we drove to the chocolate tasting, she interacted with us asking questions and gathering a sense of who we were and our interests. She started out making sure that it would be a memorable experience for mom and I. From Chocolate tasting, Sloths & Monkeys, tour through the locals areas of residence and schools, shopping at Macaw Market (highly recommend), another stop for chocolate (because why not), rum tasting and photo opportunities, we made some amazing memories.
Although everything we did was so unique and so fun, the best part was Sinthia. We so enjoyed her outgoing personality, knowledge, and dedicated drive in making sure we enjoyed ourselves and made great memories.
We highly recommend booking this tour with Roatan Tucan Adventures and ask for Sinthia!
