Highlights

Fes - Ifrane- Midlt - Merzouga

Merzouga Desert - Departing from Fez, embark on an exploratory journey through the Merzouga desert to Marrakech, uncovering the rich culture of the Berbers in southeastern Morocco. The tour begins in Fez, often referred to as the small Switzerland of Morocco. After a brief city tour, we proceed to the cedar forest in Azrou, where you can encounter the local Barbary monkeys and even feed them for some memorable photos. As we traverse the Middle Atlas mountain range along the Ziz valley, there will be opportunities to photograph Morocco’s second-largest palm grove, stretching over 150 km. We’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Erg Chebbi dunes in the village of Merzouga. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with mint tea and check into your hotel to freshen up before embarking on a camel ride adventure across the dunes, culminating in a night spent in the desert.

Merzouga Desert - Erfoud - Toudgha Gorges - Tinghir

Tinghir - After a sunrise camel ride and breakfast, we will head towards Tinghir via the Toudgha Gorges, arriving in the afternoon to spend the night at a local hotel.

Tinghir - Rose Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Marrakech-Safi - We will set off early in the morning towards Ouarzazate, the movie capital, known for its kasbahs, including the Taourirt World Heritage Site and some of the region’s most stunning palaces. Nearby, we’ll visit the cinema museum and film studios where many international films, such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, and Babel, were shot. A short 20 km drive will take us to the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. After exploring the kasbah, we’ll continue our journey across the High Atlas Mountains, admiring the breathtaking landscapes and hidden Berber villages nestled in the vast valleys. (Optional: We can have lunch at a local restaurant on the Tichka pass or in Ait Ben Haddou Village) before finally dropping you off in Marrakech.

Desert trip with Mohamed - We loved the desert trip with our Tour guide Mohamed ait Ouaghlad. He was very funny and caring and we always had the feeling of being in professional hands. The highlight of the tour was definitely the ride on the camels into the desert.

Perfect!! - I recommend our guide Mohammed who was attentive and attentive to our every need and I thank him for this incredible experience in which we were able to meet great people. Regarding the activities, we were very satisfied with the program and Mohammed's professionalism. On the other hand, I strongly advise against the Erg Chebbi camp for single women, in which we did not feel safe with my two friends. Some camp leaders were not at all professional and were persistent with their gaze. I suspect one of them had consumed illicit substances in our presence during the campfire activity, which didn't reassure us too much after noticing the insistent stares. It’s a shame because everything went very well the rest of the time. But I wanted to raise this lack of professionalism which should not be trivialized. (Otherwise I would recommend the luxury camp for women because the showers and toilets are included in the rooms, so they will not need to go to the shared showers in the middle of the night)

Unforgettable! - Great tour with a party on the bus (and off) with Mohammed. Everything was perfectly arranged. Beautiful memories; palm garden, Berber village, camel ride in the desert, quad biking, sandboarding and pleasant evening in the tent camp with music.

Wonderful experiencie - We had a really nice experiencie for 3 days in the tour. First of all, our guide and driver Mohamed Ait Ouaghlad was always kind and happy to help us in any moment we needed, so I would recomend it 100% as a guide. i think this 3 days tour includes all the minimun you could need considering the cheap price. Breakfast and dinner were delicious but we missed a little bit more of vegetarian options. The hotel during the first day was nice and with good views of the city. The room had the minimuns for a short stay. Finally all the experiencies during the trip we’re amazing. Just consider all this trip is planned for tourist so all the towns and places you visit depend mainly of tourism and the things tourist buy. Otherwise, the kind attention of all the guides and people we met during the trip was remarkable.
