Ait Ben Haddou - Our trip will take us through the High Atlas mountains by way of the historic Tizi-n-Tichka pass. With an elevation of 2,260 meters the size and beauty of the mountains cannot be overstated. This pass is also dotted with ancient oak woods, walnut groves, traditional Berber villages and picturesque valley pastures complete with roaming free range goats and sheep. The mountain pass opens into a high desert lunar landscape that is home to Ait Benhaddou, where we will stop for lunch. This UNESCO protected medina has been featured in such films as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth and The Gladiator. Stopp for lunch and visit of the Ksar

Skoura - Skoura and the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. Kasbahs are ancient castles or strongholds. The road you travel along may be paved today, but 1000 years ago it was just a path full of traders going to and from Europe. These Kasbahs offered a safe place to conduct business and spend the night in safety. Visit Kasbah Amridil.

Our first Sahara desert tour - We were picked up on time by our guide Mustafa at our riad in Marrakech. Then we headed towards the Atlas Mountains, where we drove over the Tiz n Tichka pass. Very impressive to stand at over 2200m and have this mountain range in front of you. It was also noticeably cooler, although October 23 was very hot. The next highlight was Ait Ben Haddou, where we made a longer stop and hiked up the rock. Then we went on to the Valley of the 1000 Kasbahs, where some were unfortunately badly damaged by the earthquake. We spent the evening in the hotel in the Dades Valley, where we were able to relax in the pool. On the second day, after breakfast, we went on to the Todra Gorge, which is very impressive. We had time to explore there and enjoyed the cool river water. Then we continued via Erfoud to the highlight of the trip: the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After checking in at the desert camp, we went into the dunes with the dromedaries. We really wanted to go sandboarding, which is great fun but really sapping your energy. The sunset in this silence is magical. In retrospect, we would have liked to have spent another day in the desert, it's a great feeling. In the evening we had a delicious tajine meal and Berber music, followed by a wonderfully quiet night in the tent under the stars, great! The 3rd day began with a nice breakfast, then we continued via Rissani (a beautiful, lively town) and Nkob to Agdz. There we stayed in a very nice riad, with very attentive service and delicious food. Unfortunately, the rivers have little to no water, so the oasis doesn't look quite as you would hope. On the 4th day, Mustafa took us the long way to Essaouira, where we spent the rest of our vacation. Our conclusion: Sahara Feeling is a very well-run travel agency. Our contacts Helena and Mustafa looked after us excellently. Thank you for everything and if we ever want to breathe desert air again, we'll come with you! Choukran bezaf! Best wishes from the Ludwig family P.S.; I'm drinking Whiskey Berber right now, but more because it's so cold outside!

Just relax and take some photos - Fantastic tour in the company of an excellent and always available driver: Alì. Very suggestive, from the Atlas to the desert. Not very touristy, just 4 friends and Alì. Recommended experience at an affordable price. The generosity and hospitality of the Sahara feeling kids is incredible
