Vatnsfjörður - Home to Þingmanná Waterfalls and stunning canyon
Krosslaug - Next is Birkimel Bay with sandy beach. There you will find Krosslaug Swimming Pool – one of the examples of “old times” pools that were popular amongs locals across the country. If you fancy a dip in warm geothermal waters please make sure to take swimwear and towel with you!
Kleifaheiði - Kleifakarl - Then we’ll cross a towering mountain range called Kleifaheiði en route to Patreksfjörður area. There’s an intriguing sight to see at the top! The engineers who built the mountain road raised a 5-meter-high stone statue called Kleifabúi in their spare time, marking the high point of their work.

Latrabjarg bird cliffs - We’ll follow gravel paths cut into steep mountainsides until we reach the famous bird colonies and Bjargtangar Lighthouse at Iceland’s westernmost point. Cliff tops more than 440 meters above the surf
Rauðisandur - 10-kilometer-long beach at Rauðisandur with multicolored sands
Seven Fjords, Wildlife Spotting & Viking Longhouse
Bolafjall - We will drive up Bolafjall (628m) where you can enjoy the view and walk on skywalk platform
Osvor Maritime Museum - Collection of turf-roofed buildings used in the old days by local fishermen
Westfjords Region - From Ísafjörður, you’ll enjoy unforgettable views wherever you look as the road traces its way up and down seven breathtaking fjords!
The Arctic Fox Centre - Arctic foxes roam this area, so keep a close eye out for the only native land mammal in Iceland here! If you won´t have luck, you can still meet them at Arctic Fox Center and contribute to their protection
Grabrok Crater - Heading south, we’ll break the return journey to Reykjavík (ETA 8-9 pm). One last stop will be by Grábrók Volcanic Craters, where you can stretch your legs and walk up the stairs to multiple viewing platforms.
