Additional Information

On this expedition, we’ll unearth the unseen tales of Fátima, its Sanctuary, and the undisclosed narratives privy only to the locals, since this is the land of my forefathers.

Fátima serves as Portugal’s spiritual center and is renowned for the apparition of the Virgin Mary to three children on May 13, 1917. Two of these children, Francisco and Jacinta, were declared blessed by Pope John Paul II on May 13, 2002.

Every year, an estimated 6 million people make their pilgrimage to Fátima.

The Basilica of the Holy Trinity stands out as Fátima’s newest addition and is acclaimed as the fourth-largest Catholic shrine worldwide, boasting nearly 9000 seats. This Church owes its unique design to a Greek Orthodox architect.

Prominently displayed in front of the altar is a fragment of marble originating from Apostle Peter’s tomb, upon which the St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican was built.

Our sacred journey concludes near Fátima at Valinhos, home to the dwellings of the three shepherd children.

As a memento, I will gift you an official, numbered, and limited edition Rosary of the Centennial.
