1/2 Day Fatima with Tiego was great. - We had a short stay in Lisbon so a 1/2 day in Fatima was just right.
Got to see everything and attend Mass.

The best way to visit Fatima! - There were two of us taking this tour. Miguel picked us up promptly at our hotel and we traveled to Fatima. We appreciated the personal attention and enjoyed the sights at both the Apparition Chapel area and the village. Miguel was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and friendly, making our experience most enjoyable.

I loved seeing the homes... - I loved seeing the homes of the children. Unfortunately Mass was being said outdoors, so they closed the basilica & I couldn’t see it. But Miguel was wonderful

Best tour In Fátima - It was without a doubt one of the best tours we've done in Portugal. We were advised by Miguel to only do half a day and it was very worth it. To see Fátima it is not necessary all day. We followed the recommendations of our guide who was always very helpful and without a doubt HE knows a lot of history and knows how to receive well. My family loved it.

Fatima and Convento di Cristo,Tomar - Our guide Miguel suggested and early pickup at 8am. We arrive without any traffic and Miguel ,dropped us since my cousin has sight problems, parked the vehicle and then spent time with us at Fatima, explaining the separate areas, churches and sanctuaries.we purchased candles lit them while saying prayers and odd as it was throw them in a burning fire. We visited the church where the children are buried. By the time we departed 2 hours later, it was crowded..As Catholics it was a highly emotional experience.
Next Miguel brought us to Lucia's home and we had a guided tour in side.
Miguel said he had a surprise for us and it was the highlight of the day.He brought us to Tomar to view the Convento Di Cristo. Miguel is Highly knowledgeable about the history, architecture of the castle. Through his history we were brought back in time 9 centuries before. He explained that the convent was a 12 C.stronghold of and founded by the Poor Order of the Temple in 1118. in 1190 it was encircled and resisted the armies of the Caliph al-Mansure. However the Templar order in 1319 was dissolved by King Denis or Portugal and thereafter Pope John XXII instituted the Order of Christ. and thus the seat of the former Knights Templar was converted in 1357 to the new Order. This new order supported the maritime discoveries of Portugal. and is now a UNESCO world heritage site.It was like we were transformed back in time. The interior as well as the exterior are extraordinary.

A High Point of Our Lisbon Visit - I cannot imagine having visited Fatima without our guide, Joao Paulo Dores. He was informative, entertaining, earnest, and engaging. While the tour may seem a little pricey, the level of detail and intimacy that you enjoy at the venue with the aide of a professional guide such as Joao makes this a bargain.

The Sanctuary of our Lady of Fatima was an unexpected gem - Pick up at hotel was on time. Due to cancellations because of the virus we were the only couple so we had a private tour . Our guide Miguel ensured we had an enjoyable day and was knowledgeable on the area . We had plenty of time to see everything before returning to our hotel . Very interesting tour would highly recommend.

Fatima - First of all I want you to know that the driver( I believe his name is Jaime) should not have driven 5 adults in his car. The 3rd seat in the back was made for 2 children as there was inadequate leg room for 1 adult and yet he put both my husband and I in that third row. My husband is 6 feet tall and 67 years old. I am 65 years old. It wasn’t until we got to the Shepard’s village near Fatima that he made his first stop which was over an hour ride from our hotel in Lisbon. It was only after I complained that my husband needed to sit in the first row that he agreed to let him. Again there were 3 adults, all younger than us, in the second row. It was extremely difficult for me to get in and out of his vehicle. In fact I hurt and twisted my knee doing so! I had to purchase a knee brace to help aleve the pain. Also his car was very dirty inside. At least he could have picked us up in a clean car not to mention that he was driving too fast for the rainy weather as he continued to pass other cars on the highway. He offered very little information on the ride to Fatima. Not very receptive to questions as he seemed annoyed when asked one. Basically he was a driver, NOT a tour guide. I got more information from other tour guides in the area. He drove too fast to take pictures. When we arrived to the shrine he dropped us off and again offered very little information other than what time to be back at his car.
I’m sure you can tell how disappointed we are especially after paying over $200 for this tour. I could have taken public transportation and received more information than he offered! Complete silence on the way back to the hotel.
