Batalha Monastery - The Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, also known as the Monastery of Batalha, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful works of Portuguese and European architecture.
This exceptional architectural ensemble resulted from the fulfillment of a promise made by King D. João I, in gratitude for the victory in Aljubarrota, a battle fought on August 14, 1385, which assured him the throne and guaranteed independence from Portugal. -
Nazare - Discovering Nazaré is getting lost in its narrow streets, strolling along the immense golden sand beach, climbing the century-old Ascensor and admiring the incredible panorama from Miradouro do Sítio. It’s walking to Pederneira and being impressed by the wonderful view over the village and its fishing port. Stop for a good grilled fresh fish, a succulent stew or some traditional dried horse mackerel in one of the many restaurants in the village.
-
Óbidos - The medieval village of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque and well preserved in Portugal.
Close enough to the capital and situated on a high point, close to the Atlantic coast, Óbidos had a strategic importance in the territory. Already occupied before the Romans arrived in the Iberian Peninsula, the village became more prosperous from the moment it was chosen by the royal family. Since the king D. Dinis offered it to his wife D. Isabel, in the 19th century. In the 13th century, it belonged to the Casa das Rainhas which, throughout the various dynasties, benefited and enriched it. It is one of the main reasons for finding so many churches in this small town.

We’re dedicated to ensuring you have an unforgettable day with our company. Our journey will kick-start at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, a renowned cornerstone of Marian devotion, attracting global pilgrims. It signifies a significant Catholic pilgrimage place, cherishing the history behind its inception, especially the apparitions of Our Lady to the three children – Lúcia dos Santos, Francisco, and Jacinta Marto – back in 1917. We’ll explore the house of the Pastorinhos as well as Lúcia’s Museum. Following that, we’ll tour the local area. The subsequent stopover is a one-hour visit to the Batalha Monastery. Our journey will then lead us to the magnificent Vila Nazaré, allotting 2 hours of leisure time to relish the mesmerizing views and savor lunch at sea-view restaurants. Afterward, we turn our wheels towards the medieval town of Óbidos, where you get the chance to discover the distinct characteristics of the town nestled within the castle, a place out of time. We look forward to meeting you :)
