- Praia da Nazare - host to some of the Portuguese coast’s most beautiful beaches and a fishermen villa that holds the record for the world’s largest wave that was ever surfed. Here you will break for lunch, perhaps choosing from one of the many tasty seafood restaurants (At your own expense).
- Obidos Village - After lunch, you will continue your travels along the coast towards the historic village of Óbidos. This beautiful village is situated inside the ancient medieval fortress walls of the XII century. Its narrow streets, white-painted houses, and ramparts are a vision not to be missed. Before leaving Óbidos, enjoy a sample of “Ginjinha” a cherry liquor, sipped from a chocolate cup.

Great experience - This was a wonderful tour, we enjoyed the trip very much. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable and very tentative to us seniors. The vehicle was clean and comfortable for the 16 of us. Best part was the communication between us and the office, quick and precise responses. Overall I give it 5 star rating.

Tomás of Wonder Van - If we could give six out of five stars for our guide Tomás S., we would. Seven even. He was on time, professional, always courteous, and also very kind. And bonus: a history major. He spoke English very well. Driving was 100% safe. He never lost his cool even around unsafe motorists. He gave us an orientation before leaving the area of our hotel, gave recommendations of restaurants with honest reviews, as well as tips for do’s and don’ts.
Book with Tomás. He is top notch, and it’s impossible to be disappointed.

Great Tour with Tomas' - Great Tour! Tomas was a great guide - very fun and thorough of his knowledge of Portugal. We wanted to see Nazare - even though we knew there would be no waves this time of year and it didn't disappoint us - beautiful spot. Would definately recommend this tour and Tomas!!!

Unforgettable trip long lasting memories - We just concluded a 17 day tour of Portugal (13 adults) started in Porto to the Duoro Valley , Fatima Obidos , Peniche, Algarve with side trip to Seville Spain. Wondervan with drivers Antonio and Roberto and our tour guide Tomas Silva provided us the most amazing exceptional transportation and tour services you can ask for . From airport pick up and drop off, to baggage handling , dining suggestions, menu translations, wine selections, shopping expeditions , cultural and heritage visits culminating in a full course genuine Portuguese meal prepared by Roberto (patinga was the group’s favorite) and White sangria by Tomas . Thanks to Renato and Melissa for coming and touring with us and of course to Tomas who bonded with each one to make this trip special in every way.

Tour Guide Made the Day! - We did a private tour due to some physical limitations. Our driver and guide for the day was Tomas with Wonder Tours. He was knowledgeable, prompt, organized and delightful company for the day. The tour through 4 cities was a long day but each site worth seeing. Our favorite was the walled city of Obidos with their Ginja. As a surfer, the natural forces of the waves of Nazarre was a must see. Fatima has become very commercialized and therefore was a quick stop. The monastery at Bathida was interested and beautiful. We had a great lunch overlooking the monastery grounds.

Wonderful trip to Fatima and Nazare - Alex was a terrific guide for our private tour of Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, and Obidos. Alex was extremely knowledgable about the history and culture of our destinations. He did a wonderful job guiding us to the interesting spots, but also gave us plenty of time to wander on our own. Nazare in particular was breathtaking, and it was great to not only take in the wonderful views but to hear all about the history and culture of the town from someone as knowledgable as Alex. Overall a fantastic tour!
