  • Lake Kawaguchiko - You can enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants around Lake Kawaguchiko. The lake sits at an elevation of about 830 meters, resulting in cool summers and icy winters. The area surrounding Lake Kawaguchiko is picturesque.
  • Oshino Hakkai Sengen Shrine - Sengen Shrine, located in the Oshikusa district, was constructed in Daido 2 (807 AD). The main shrine features a cypress bark roof and is built in the Sangensha Nagarezukuri style.
  • Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba - This scenic spot offers views of Mt. Fuji in the background and features old Japanese houses with straw roofs. Here, you can find local crafts and meet local artists. You can also rent kimonos and samurai armor for photos.
  • Mt. Fuji 5th Station - Situated at 2300 meters above sea level, the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station provides a stunning view of the Fuji Five Lakes area below. It’s a popular spot even for those not planning to climb the mountain. On clear days, you can see Mt. Fuji without any obstructions.
  • Oishi Park - Located on the north shore of Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park offers a magnificent view of both the lake and Mt. Fuji.
  • Chureito Pagoda - The Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five-story pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji in the distance. Part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine, it was built as a peace memorial in 1963 and is nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings.
  • Mount Fuji - The trekking trail starts from the 5th station at Mt. Fuji. A guide will take you along the Yoshida trail to the 7th station (2700m). The trail is easy and offers an enjoyable tour of Mt. Fuji, perfect for spending quality time with friends and family.
  • Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) is a set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region. Located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako, the ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji that filters through layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water. On clear days, you can get a close view of Mt. Fuji.
  • Fuji-Q Highland - Fuji-Q Highland is an amusement park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan, owned and operated by Fuji Kyuko Co. It opened on March 2, 1968, and is located near the base of Mount Fuji.
