  • Daiszenji Temple - Nestled among vineyards, the main statue of Daizenji Temple is a unique depiction of Yakushi Nyorai holding a bunch of grapes. The temple’s history dates back to 718 A.D. when the monk Gyoki visited Kai and envisioned Yakushi Nyorai with grapes. The on-site vineyard’s grapes are used to produce original wines, which can be enjoyed at the temple. Present the email body sent to participants at the reception to receive admission and drinks.

At the Chateau Mercian Wine Museum, discover the history of Japanese wine. Established in 1904 (Meiji 37), it is the oldest existing wooden wine brewery in Japan.
Daizenji Temple features a rare statue of Yakushi Nyorai holding a bunch of grapes. Visitors can also enjoy wine produced at the temple.
