Wonderful change of pace from visiting the big cities of Japan - We had an amazing time on our day long tour with Ryu. He was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the areas we visited but about living in Japan as well. He was a joy to spend the day with and even took us to a farmer’s market that was originally planned after we said he were interested in trying some fruit. We were at the end of a two week vacation and this was definitely a highlight. Like I read here before, if you are on the fence this is worth it, even if Mt. Fuji hides for most of the day like it did for us.

My Fuji trip - I would rate t this experience, a five out of five as it was very educational and the tour guide yru was great. He was very courteous and very knowledgeable of the areas that we were visiting on the Mount Fuji trip.

Highly recommend for the high quality service and competitive cost - Highly recommend. Professional , knowledgeable, reliable, punctual and adaptable. We had our own A/c van and the travel was comfortable. We went to Mt Fugi and he took us to all interesting spots , food places, good spots for pictures and also provided us with insights in history, politics, economy and lifestyle of people. Great for groups of 4 or 5 - Pick up and drop off at your chosen location. Places to visit are flexible, you can make a change to the itinerary. The car is clean and comfortable. Ryu is knowledgeable with interesting information to add. He made the whole trip effortless for us. It was a good day, definitely well spend with Ryu!

Mount Fuji guided tour - Hiring a private tour was the best decision made on this trip. The trip was very comfortable from the start from getting picked up from my hotel to being dropped. Ryu having lived in Tokyo for years have a great knowledge of the history and culture. It was important for us to not only visit these places but to have an understanding of its meaning to local people. Thanks for the amazing trip highly recommend

Mt Fuji Day Tour - Our driver Ryu, was fantastic! Ryu was friendly and very knowledgeable. He customised our trip perfectly and was very considerate with planning ahead so we had the best opportunity to see Mt Fuji and beat the crowds. He also took some beautiful family photos for us. Tailored to our needs and very informative - The guide was very friendly. He planned the tour very nicely for us so that we could cover all the main attractions in the limited time we had. We would be very happy to take another tour with him in the future!

A great experience! - To be honest, I was a little skeptical about booking a tour with a complete stranger, but it proved to be our easiest, carefree day in Japan! Ryu messaged (using What’s App) the day before to ask to start 30 minutes early to avoid some traffic, and we were totally ok with this, so I said yes. He also reviewed a tentative itinerary based on what I listed as some places we wanted to make sure to see/do. He came up with a great “game plan” and was accommodating to the fact that one of my travelers was recovering from a foot injury and walked slower than usual. On the day of the tour, he was very punctual. He shared a lot of information and knowledge with us during the drive, but it also didn’t feel overwhelming or boring… it was casual as he safely drove us in his very clean van. One of our travelers in our group often gets car sick (and did get sick in some of the taxis in Japan), but he had no issues with Ryu driving. We had a full day filled with so many wonderful things to see, do and eat! We lucked out with the most beautiful weather with clear skies to get the most amazing views of Mount Fuji. All of Ryu’s recommendations for places to visit, things to do and places to eat were top notch and didn’t disappoint. He’s a master of knowing where to take great photos too! He works very hard and his commitment to his work shows. He even offered to carry bags full of omiyage (gifts for people back home) for our older adult in our group. He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable and if I ever get the chance to visit Japan again, I’d love to book another tour with him! Even our 7 year old enjoyed this experience and said this day was his favorite day (voted over going to Disneyland and visiting all the Pokémon Centers on the other days of our trip to Japan!)
