Awesome day to Hakone and Mt. Fuji area - Booked this on Viator and the communication with Azu International Tour prior to the tour was great. We were able to tailored our itinerary, added a stop at Narusawa Ice Cave and modified the drop off location to our hotel in Kawaguchiko at the end of the tour. Our guide Irfan was awesome and he speaks fluent English. Although there was an unforeseen traffic delay at the beginning of our tour due to an accident, he managed to accommodate our interests and we accomplished a lot on the tour. The view at Hakone Shrine was beautiful, the ice caves were amazing and we had a boat ride at Lake Kawaguchiko. Car was comfortable and Irfan was a great driver.

Awesome experience. Sakib... - Awesome experience. Sakib was a fantastic tour guide! He gave us options of what we wanted to see but we gave him that job and he took us to the most beautiful places.

An unforgettable tour of Mount Fuji - My wife and I have visited Japan on five different occasions. We’ve often had passing glimpses of Mount Fuji from the window of a Shinkansen or tour bus. On this most recent family trip we decided to sign up with a guided tour offered by Viator, and was finally able to view Mount Fuji as we had dreamed. Our tour was greatly enhanced by our guide, Abbas, who was very nice, and did a great job finding us spectacular vistas of this sacred mountain. We even got to go on a speed boat tour on Lake Kawaguchikoi to get more unique views of Fuji. These are memories that will last a lifetime.

Interesting trip but not to Hakone - The driver picked us up at our Hotel and took us to an old, yet scenic village at the foot of Mount Fuji and a temple with 400 Steps with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. He was more driver then guide so information was scarce and he did not go to Hakone as was shown.

It was okay. - Unfortunately it was a very rainy day when we went to Mt Fuji so we knew that we wouldn't see it. So we didnt get to see much as per the itinerary. The driver was a nice person however it wasn't really a tour guide more like driving service to the areas.

Mt Fuji Saved the Day - The good things - the weather, the beauty of Mt Fuji and surrounding scenery. The not so good - the traffic, the lack of knowledge displayed by guide, the inability to actually get to the fifth station, Short stops with little information given, the inability of guide to converse adequately in English and a worrying trip back where driver appeared to be falling asleep at the wheel. Would not recommend this company.

Overpriced for the Experience - There were a couple mishaps during the experience and the description is misleading. Originally, we had selected an 8:00 AM departure to avoid some of the traffic. The night before, the tour operator messaged us that they couldn’t do 8:00 AM because they needed to rent a van and wouldn’t be able to depart until 8:30 AM at the earliest. On the day of the tour, ended up departing closer to 9:00 AM. Due to the amount of traffic, this inherently reduced time at each stop. Additionally the Hakone area was “closed” but this wasn’t communicated until the end of the tour. I wouldn’t so much call this a “private tour” as much as a private driver for the day since no information or history was relayed by our driver and their English was poor at best. Mt. Fuji is beautiful and the weather was great but I think for the price we paid, it seemed overpriced for what we received.

What you see, is not what you get! - We were very disappointed with this tour. You get attracted by many sightseeing wonders but it is actually impossible to see half of them as they are quite away from each other. Certainly beforehand you're warned that the program route may change depending on traffic, but honestly, even with no traffic it is not possible to see more than four different sites. Added to that, that the driver is just a driver and does not provide informative commentary about the destinations being visited, I cannot not advise it. At least, we got to see Mount Fuji, but that's thanks mother nature rather than the tour.
