We had an amazing time! Warmly recommended!!! - Our family of four was picked up at our hotel in Kawaguchiko shortly after breakfast by Johnny in his very comfortable car. We quickly felt at ease with Johnny and his warm, fun and enthusiastic personality. We loved all the places we visited and all the insight Johnny shared with us. Johnny was excellent at keeping an engaging rhythms throughout the day, something that is extra appreciated when traveling with kids (9 & 10 years old). Definitely one of our best days in Japan, and they were all great!!! Thank you for a fantastic day Johnny - we hope to see you soon again! Maybe in Colorado?

Kawaguchigo hidden gems with Johnny - I came across Johnny through some tripadvisor reviews, and I'm so glad I did! My husband and I and our 11 year old daughter spent 2 amazing memorable days with Johnny, where he picked us up each morning from our hotel and drove us around the bestest spots in the area. We went to a couple of the must- see touristic spots like Chureito Pagoda, with it's stunning views of Mount Fuji Oshino Hokkai, Oishi park, but apart from those he took us to some fantastic, off the beaten path places, beautiful waterfalls and shrines in forests, a dip in Lake Motosu, special viewpoints of Fuji and other places we'd never have known to visit. He took us to the best authentic ramen restaurant in the area where only locals go- a truly special experience , stopped us throughout the day for grilled mochi , the juciest local peaches, yummy local ice cream and more.He even organised an onigiri- making ( and eating) workshop, which we loved, especially our daughter. Johnny is so friendly and helpful and gave us such a fantastic insight into local Japanese culture and history. By the end of the two days, after lots of laughs and chatter we felt like we'd become good friends and were so sad to say bye!!!! I would highly recommend Johnny to anyone wanting to visit the Fuji area in the best way possible! Johhny- you're awesome!

Awesome visit with 2 adults and 2 kids - Super friendly guide, speaking perfect Canadian English! Before even getting to Kawaguchiko Johnny helped us find the rind tickets. Once we arrived, he drove us around for the entire day showing us cool and beautiful spots some of which had close to no other tourists around - a rarity in the well visited Mt Fuji region. Lunch at the local and tome-travelly decored restaurant was delicious and we now wonder what we missed in the other one Johnny proposed us to go to (we can only have lunch once per day!). He also took a few detours to accommodate with what the kids wanted to see. Overall a great experience!

Once in a lifetime experience thanks to Johnny x - Prior to the trip, communication with Johnny was easy. Johnny ensured that my family was comfortable and enjoying the places he had planned for us throughout the trip. Johnny also shared his extensive knowledge of Fuji's history with us and snapped numerous pictures of the family. His "secret spots" were incredible; definitely a 10/10 experience, and I would recommend this tour to anybody visiting Fuji.

Book Johnny in Kawaguchiko - Johnny is amazing. The perfect local guide for English-speaking tourists. He had the right amount of a sense of humor to make a breathtaking tour unforgettable. He also made the extra effort of dropping us off at the Mishima train station after the tour. If you need a tour guide in Kawaguchiko, and don’t want to have to strain to understand what your guide is saying, you must book with Johnny. Additionally, he took lots of pictures of us.

Excellent English-Speaking Local Guide with a Car - Johnny is a personable English-speaking guide who knows the lake Kawaguchi area very well. Unlike most guides who rely on public transportation, Johnny provides a car. We were able to quickly transit to many areas with ease. I plan to book Johnny on future trips to this region.

Best tour we experienced in Japan! - Fabulous experience- the best tour we did in Japan! Johnny was an amazing guide - funny, insightful and great with our kids as well as us. We covered so much ground and saw so much on this tour - from waterfalls to local cuisine to Mt Fuji. Johnny did this all while avoiding crowds and the run of the mill tourist destinations. And he took photos of our family allowing us to relax and immerse ourselves in the tour. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
