For this service, the chartered bus will be used as a “shared” ride, departing from the chartered bus parking lot at HAKATA Station in Hakata ward, Fukuoka city. Hakata Station features two main entrances. Please be aware that the departure point is not the main “HAKATA Exit” but the “CHIKUSHI Exit” on the opposite side. The charter bus will wait for your group to assemble for 30 minutes starting at 7:30 am, departing promptly at 8:00 am. Punctuality is important to avoid inconveniencing other groups. If the bus is missed, responsibility lies with the individual. A driver or guide will be present with a name board at the designated location and time. The bus is marked with Roman letters.

KOKONOE “YUME” OTSURIHASHI opened on October 30th, 2006. It spans 390 meters in length, stands 173 meters high, and is 1.5 meters wide, making it the highest pedestrian suspension bridge in Japan. Directly in front of this bridge, visitors can view ‘Shindo-no-taki’ or ‘Medaki’, recognized among the ‘100 beautiful waterfalls in Japan’. Beyond the bridge lies the expansive Narukogawa-Keikoku forest, the headwater of the Chikugo River, offering captivating seasonal views. Additionally, the ‘Kuju-Renzan’ mountain ranges, including Mimata Mt. and Waita Mt., can be seen in the distance. This stunning 360-degree view is truly a “walkway in the sky.”

Yunotsubo Kaido Street traverses the heart of the popular hot spring town of Yufuin, stretching from Yufuin Station to Lake Kinrinko. The walk takes about 20 minutes without stops, but the numerous intriguing shops, cafes, and galleries warrant an hour or two of leisurely exploration. The street is lined with low-rise, traditionally styled buildings, with Mt. Yufu towering above, enhancing the scenic atmosphere. It’s a delightful place to wander, sample local treats, enjoy a lakeside stroll, and relax in one of the many hot springs. *If an optional paid tour guide is included, they will lead the way. Otherwise, feel free to explore independently.

The “hells” (地獄, jigoku) of Beppu are seven remarkable hot springs meant for viewing rather than bathing, showcasing steaming ponds of various hues, bubbling mud pools, and other geothermal phenomena. The hells are presented in a tourist-friendly manner, which may not appeal to everyone. Five of the seven hells are situated in the Kannawa district, with two located in the more secluded Shibaseki district.

Beppu Onsen on Oita’s east coast, is one of the most famous hot spring towns in Japan. It produces more hot spring water than any other place in the country, and the view of the townscape with plumes of rising steam is striking.
Yunotsubo Kaido Street runs through the center of the popular hot spring town of Yufuin, leading from Yufuin Station to Lake Kinrinko.
‘KOKONOE “YUME” OTSURIHASH’ is opened in October 30th, 2006. It is 390 meters long, 173 meters high, 1.5 meters broad and it is the highest suspension bridge which is only for walkway in Japan.
