Great tour in Fukuoka - We had such a great tour walking around Fukuoka. Our journey began at the Hakata station and circled around the city visiting the Kushida Shrine, one of Fukuoka’s most important Shinto shrines. The intricate wooden carvings, towering torii gate, and the peaceful ambiance set the perfect tone for the tour. We then made our way to Tochoji Temple, home to Japan’s largest wooden Buddha statue. Standing at 10 meters tall, it was a breathtaking sight. Walking through the dimly lit tunnel beneath the statue, meant to symbolize a journey through the afterlife, added a contemplative and immersive touch to our visit. Our final shrine stop was Sumiyoshi Shrine, one of the oldest shrines in Fukuoka. Dedicated to the Sumiyoshi deities, protectors of sailors and travelers, the shrine exuded a serene and mystical atmosphere. The beautiful trees and elegant architecture made it a truly memorable place to explore. Overall, Radim was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. I recommend his services to anyone and hope to return to Fukuoka in the near future to adventure more in and outside the city.

Great guide! - Radim our guide was excellent in ensuring we got the very best from our experience. I contacted him begore we travelled to Japan to sort out a pick up point and he kindly agreed to meet us at our hotel. Unfortunately the weather was awful but Radim created a tour for us that was interesting and kept us pot of the rain as much as possible. He was very knowledgeable about all the places he took us to and had done a lot of extra research. He spoke excellent English and has a great sense of humour, I would highly recommend a tour with Radim if you’re visiting Fukuoka.

In depth tour of Fukuoka's famous and off the beaten track sights - Great tour and very informative guide! Saw some amazing sights while learning about the culture/history. Guide tailored the tour to my interests as I prefer less touristy places and am very interested in local culture so I got to see things I couldn't have found on my own. I especially recommend it if you've just arrived as the guide happily provided ideas and information for other places to visit so for me it was a great investment 😄 He also took great photos for me so that is another plus

This was the start of the backend of a 5 week trip to Japan. - Fukuoka is a delightful city. Unlike the big major cities. It’s easy going and friendly. But it still has everything to offer. Not a lot of historical sites unless you include Nagasaki. All the other cities in Kyushu are as well developed. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and this is an extremely nicely appointed hotel. Suggest staying there if it fits in the budget.
