A great hike for young and old, suitable for everyone - The tour guide was very friendly and adapted well to the group. Everyone was looked after and there were enough breaks. The tour guide told us a lot of interesting facts about the hike. The view and the hike itself were fantastic. The meal together in the afternoon was great and the tour guide spoke very good English and a little German.

What a great day out! - Maciej was so friendly and knowledgeable about the island and the walk itself was great. An email the day before provided us with a pick up time from the hotel and Maciej was right on time. A lovely mixed nationality small group of us headed into the mountains. It was chilly when we got up there and I was pleased to be wearing longer trousers and a long sleeve running top- I didn't feel overheated the entire day. Let me prefix this by saying my partner and I are not particularly fit- we have been on long flat walks before but after spur of the moment booking I definitely worried I wouldn't be fit enough. I shouldn't have worried at all! Maciej has a great knack for stopping at a scenic point every couple of minutes or so (depending on the terrain) to get your breath back. The views are outstanding, made any challenging parts more then worth the effort and on the day we walked you could see Tenerife! Watching the clouds roll in across the north of Gran Canaria is truly breathtaking. Take snacks as there's a couple of break spots and water is important- we took around 1.5l between us. We headed (by car, thankfully) to the nearby village of Fataga and ate a light 3 course meal at around 1500 which was welcome and the fish particularly was delicious. Really enjoyed our day out and would (and have while we're still here) recommend, thanks Maciej! Enjoy Kilimanjaro!

Great tour with a great guide. - Maciej led the tour brilliantly. Lots of information about the area. Beautiful tour, highly recommended. Transport and pick-up all worked out. The meal at the end was good.

Excellent experience - If you like nice walk in the wood and to see Grand Canaria from above this hike is for you. Maciej is a very good tour guide with lots of good energy. I was picked up on time and the hiking was easy to medium difficulty going through the pines forest to the second highest pick of the island. The lunch after the hiking at the local village on the way back was really decent with lots of food choices. All in all very good value for money and excellent experience!

Great tour with a great guide - Maciej picked us up from the hotel first thing in the morning and showed us, in a group of 8 people, the peaks of Gran Canaria on a hike lasting around 4 hours. With his relaxed and cheerful demeanor, Maciej managed to make the day an unforgettable one in no time. We were given all the necessary information about the country and its people, as well as the history of Gran Canaria. And of course about the nature and fauna. We can 100% recommend the tour and will book the tour a second time as soon as we are back in Gran Canaria.

Excellent day walking the peaks of Gran Canaria - The whole day out from start to finish ran like clockwork. During the walk Maciej was careful to ensure that we went at a pace that suited all of the group with frequent stops to provide information about our surroundings. Afterwards lunch, which was good was in a local restaurant which was included in the price. A great day out, well worth the money. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely sign up again the next time we are in the area.

Beautiful scenery, great guide and delicious food - Had such a good trip with Maciej and the gang. From start to finish, everything was great. He communicated well and confirmed the pick up time the day before. I loved the drive up into the mountains and the bus was clean and comfortable. The trek itself was not too difficult, and he ensured he went at a reasonable pace to suit everyone, ensuring we had sufficient breaks between and time for a drink and had to 20 minute breaks in between walking. The views were spectacular and we were so lucky with the weather. He was friendly and charming throughout, telling jokes and stories along the way. Was nice to meet others also on the trip and get to know them as it was just a group of 9 in total. We finished off with a meal in a local restaurant which was superb and delicious, with plenty of choice for everybody. All in all, it was fantastic, great value for money and would recommend 😁
