- Browns Canyon National Monument - As an AAE exclusive, you’ll start your adventure paddling through the majestic Browns Canyon National Monument. It’s the perfect way to warm up, with some awesome Class III rapids and epic Colorado scenery.
- American Adventure Expeditions - Look for our big AAE sign and large log entryways. Shop our beautiful first-class retail shop stocked with a variety of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, snacks, drinks, etc as well as photos of you and your group on the river! Plan to arrive at our outpost 45 minutes prior to departure in order to maximize your time on the adventure!
- Arkansas River - We can show you the rapids of the mighty Arkansas River like no one else! The Arkansas River is a major tributary of the Mississippi River. It generally flows to the east and southeast as it traverses the U.S. states of Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The river’s source basin lies in the western United States in Colorado, specifically the Arkansas River Valley.

Great guide, great rafting - Trip was fantastic. Browns in the morning, which was scenic and fun. Numbers in the afternoon was quick and delightful. I’ve been down a variety of rivers and Rye was the best guide I’ve had. He has clear technical knowledge and a great attitude. He made a fantastic trip even better!

A river running blast of a day! - We did the full day Browns Canyon/The Numbers with JP and had such a fantastic time! My 16 yo hadn’t been rafting in years and I was afraid theNumbers might be too much for him. I talked about it with JP and he said we’d see how Browns canyon went and then regroup. We had such a fabulous time, everyone was hyped for the Numbers and JP felt confident Jack was ready. He made us an awesome lunch and we got back on the river and had so much fun we were really bummed when we saw the pullout! Everybody at AAE was really nice and great — we recommend it 100% and will definitely be back!

Whitewater - This was an amazing experience. The numbers section was almost non-stop whitewater!! JP was a fantastic guide as well. I would highly recommend American Adventure Expeditions!!

Great tour! - My family and I had a great time rafting with American Expedition Adventures! We went on the browns trail in the morning, and numbers in the afternoon. Our tour guide was Rye, and he did a great job showing us some cool landmarks around the tour. The views were awesome as well. This was our second time going with this company, and will continue to come back when we visit. Highly recommend American Expedition Adventures!

Full day adventure - We took this trip as a family and had the absolute best time ! All of the guides were incredible and so helpful. Their energy is definitely contagious and makes for an incredibly fun experience the whole time! No matter how much water you’re being blasted with.

Father/Son Adventure - Brought my 18 year son for his first white water rafting adventure, along with a long time friend. The morning portion was not as adventurous as we had hoped, but the scenery was fantastic. The afternoon portion met expectations and was outstanding. We all wish we could have done an immediate turn around and hit it again!
Our guide, Jordan, was great! A perfect blend of competence, fun, and spirited personality. Sure hope we can come back soon. Thanks for a great experience.

Numbers Whole Day whitewater rafting - Our group was with Rye for the whole day and he was awesome! We had a great experience and some pretty good food was provided as well. I would definitely recommend these folks to anyone looking to get out on the Arkansas for some whitewater rafting!

Awesome experience!!! - Stewart was the best guide I could have asked for. I was definitely nervous never rafting before and doing the full day including Numbers. I am so glad I didn’t wimp out because it was so fun and rewarding. Thank you, Stewart, for helping me feel great and confident out of my comfort zone! Highly recommend AAE!
