Fabulous day out - This was such a fantastic day out, and exceeded my expectations. I've not snorkelled before and the guides were fantastic with us newbies. The food was really good, even for vegetarians (the dahl was excellent!). My husband and I really loved this trip and thought it was really worth every cent! Getting to sail on a dhow was also really special and gives you a wonderful insight into Zanzibari culture.

We went to the Sandbank, after Snorkeling, then at the Lagoon, lastly we went at Kwale Island and have the seafood buffet which was so delicious. Everything was as described before the trip, they were so reliable.

Overpriced and Underwhelming - Not worth the money! Stay at your hotel and enjoy beach their instead. Sandbanks are overpopulated and look nothing like pictures. Snorkeling is nothing special. At the very least, pay a local to do this tour for way cheaper.

Inaccurate details of trip.. Not worth the money. - New snorkeling equipment needed.. area for lunch needs totally cleaning up and free toilet facilities provided especially after the prices being charged this is a joke. After a two hour drive and boat to reach the first stop which was the sand bank for fruit. Then on to snorkel where most people on the our boat did not see any sealife as described by advertising our sales person or tour guide, which was more than disappointing. Next stop for lunch, which was very nice but the seating/eating area provided was a total disgrace with litter everywhere and broken seats which looked very shabby. This spot was also where the 500 year old tree was which allowed tourists to climb all over it, surely such a thing of beauty should be protected. Stop on the return journey for a swim which was a nice photo opportunity, but that's about it. All in all an expensive trip and not really worth the travel time to get to here to not see the fish 🐠🐟 as promised.

Terrible experience because of bad local supplyer - It did not work for me! The site said pick-up time 8AM. One day before tour sent message to the tour operator , for confirmation of booking and reply said : ok, pick-up time from your hotel is 8AM. Woke up early, fighting jet lag and 7:30AM got a message saying pick-up time changed to 9AM. Was picked-up at that time and drove to boat departure. There waited more one hour and 15 minutes, just to have an almost full departing boat called back and me to board. I did not boarded it and had to pay a taxi back to Stone Town. Sultan Tours say I am not entitled to a refund and Viator agrees with them, Beware!!
