Collection

Cairo - On the first day, we will greet you at Cairo airport, assist with your visa, help you through immigration, and transport you to the hotel. In the evening, we’ll dine at a local restaurant.

Giza and Saqqara pyramids

Pyramids of Giza - After breakfast, we’ll explore the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx, including a visit inside one of the pyramids. Following this, we’ll enjoy a traditional meal and head to Memphis, Egypt’s first capital, to see Saqqara, its necropolis, and the renowned statue of Ramses II.

Khan Al-Khalili - After some rest at the hotel, we’ll venture to Old Cairo at night, exploring its medieval area, walking along its oldest street, visiting the Khan el Kalili market, entering the famous Café of Mirrors, and having a typical dinner.

Cairo Center and Museum

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - This day is dedicated to visiting Cairo’s most iconic spots. We’ll tour the Saladin Citadel, enter the Alabaster Mosque, haggle at the Khan el Kalili market, stroll through the Coptic Quarter, have a meal, and marvel at the masterpieces in the Egyptian Museum (excluding access to the mummies’ hall). In the evening, we’ll dine at a local restaurant.

Luxor

Luxor - After breakfast, we’ll head to the airport for our flight to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes, where our cruise begins.

Luxor Temple - At night, we’ll visit the illuminated Luxor Temple – an unforgettable sight – and tour the city center in a horse-drawn carriage. We’ll stay on the cruise ship.

Karnak Temple

Al Karnak - Early in the morning, we’ll visit the Karnak Temple, connected to the Luxor Temple by the Avenue of the Sphinxes.

Valley of the Kings - We’ll then cross the Nile’s western bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of the most famous pharaohs (visiting Tutankhamun’s Tomb costs an additional 16 euros). We’ll also see the Hatshepsut Temple and the grand Colossi of Memnon. After returning to the ship, we’ll have lunch and start sailing towards Edfu, enjoying the Esna lock passage at dusk.

Edfu Temple

Edfu - Our day begins with a visit to the Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus and the best-preserved temple in Egypt. Afterward, we’ll return to the cruise to continue sailing to Kom Ombo.

Kom Ombo - Here, we’ll visit its temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Hareoris, known for its stunning location. We’ll then continue sailing to Aswan.

Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel - The day starts with a bus tour to the Abu Simbel Temples, Egypt’s most famous, saved from flooding through international efforts. On our return to Aswan, we’ll see the impressive Aswan Dam, one of the 20th century’s largest engineering feats. We’ll also visit the Temple of Philae, situated on a beautiful island and known as the Jewel of the Nile, before returning to the cruise for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll take a felucca ride (a traditional Egyptian boat) and return to the ship by 4:00 p.m. You’ll have free time for the rest of the afternoon, and we’ll spend the night on the ship.

Return to Cairo

Cairo - After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo. From Cairo airport, you can easily catch your international flight.

We’ll adjust the departure time from Aswan based on your international flight schedule. If you have an early flight from Cairo, we’ll depart from Aswan earlier and provide a continental or takeaway breakfast. WONDERFULLY WONDERFUL EGYPT - One of my dreams since I was a child was to visit Egypt and at 30 years old I was given the opportunity to do it. And what an incredible experience, how many beautiful things this wonderful country has, how many secrets hidden among so many temples and what beautiful stories each one of them hides. And of course none of this would have been possible without the company of Mohamed Gaber who has guided us through each of them. Moha enjoys what she does and that is why she has made this experience unique and unforgettable. A guide 100 out of 100.
