3d Fun Art Museum - We have about 40 different scenarios, including 3D images and optical illusions, that make us enter the world of fantasy and imagination and believe that anything is possible.
Here, visitors can embody Van Gogh’s doctor, venture out on safari or even have a dinosaur as a pet. They can also see their world completely upside down, their head being served at a meal table, winging and flying in the cosmos, drinking a wine served by God in Miguel
Angelo’s Creation of Adam, and dance a Madeira folklore on your way out.
This space combines the science of visual perception with the magic of illusion and makes everything seem possible.

Genuint roande. Go there!! - Genuinely cleverly designed and very amusing. If you are in Funchal and have not visited the museum, you have made a mistake. Don't forget to bring a camera!

Give it a go, brilliant for all ages - Brilliant way to pass a few hours especially if raining.
You will need a 3rd person to take photos for some of the 3d effects, we asked a another couple and then an assistant popped up to help.
At first we were a bit what are we doing but once got into the hang of it was a barrel of laughs , there are helpful photo pointers next to the 3d items, our best one was working out the upside room.
We are a couple 58 and 61 who are still looking back and laughing at the pics, our friends asking how did you do that the Houdini and upside room.
We went midweek in afternoon and besides ourselves just 2 other couples so had place to ourselves thus no self consciousness or rush.
Well recommended

Must have in Funchal - Totally cool house, very nice staff, always helpful and explanatory. Great event, must have in Funchal, not far from the port. It's very worth it.

Top family fun! - We had a great fun here this morning, lots of great photo opportunities and optical illusions. My two boys (6 and 4) had a blast and loved posing for the photos. Even my husband who was a bit skeptical before we went had a great time! I’d highly recommend as a fun trip out for families and something a bit different to do.

Lovely little activity for an hour or so - This was a good little activity to do to kill an hour. It’s €11 and under 4s went free. (We have an almost 2 year old) it was great fun, we had the place to ourselves and it meant we could explore at our own pace. A good little activity and the paintings are so clever. The staff were friendly. It was a sunny day (possibly by it was quiet?) but quite hot in the rooms and downstairs.

Nice but small - Nice pastime for bridging the waiting time (return flight etc), you must certainly but not expect too much. Very nice support of the staff.

Fun for a group - It was a lot of fun, but go with friends. It is not easy to do this solo. But they did give me a tripod to use so that was helpful.
The staff was very nice.

The Office level cringe - This had been recommended to us by a friend and we were a little bit skeptical about it. We didn’t come with high expectations, but somehow this managed dig a tunnel under the low bar we had set for it.
My brother had skipped the visit and I told him it was worse than he had expected. When he saw our photos he was surprised by the fact that my description didn’t match how lame it was:
”This is The Office level cringe!”
The shared memory made for a great bonding experience.
