Madeiras coolest adventure with a kid! - Me and my 9 year old son loved the adventure 🤩 The morning walk to the starting point was a bit scary through the levadas. Once we were on site to descent everything was very fun and safe. The instructors were professional and friendly. They spoke good english. The instructor even wanted to learn some finnish words to instruct my son to go left or right. Highly recommend to adventurous families with sporty kids who like to try new experiences. The last waterslide was crazy 😆

Great experience! - Amazing experience, such good and funny guides. It was very cool to see their experience and skills. The tour was full of fun jumps and abseiling and the guides made a lot of photos and videos that they shared with us. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommended! - The tour was booked through BeLocalMadeira and we were then picked up by the guys from Fast Rope Madeira. The organization was great and really easy. You get a response really quickly via WhatsApp. The guides were super nice, helpful and funny, which made the trip even more special. You were never on your own and it was just so much fun. Canyoning was my personal highlight of the vacation. I would choose the company again and again. Simply great! At the end of the tour you get photo and video material sent to you.

Fun and well organized canyoning - Fun and well-organized canyoning with many waterfalls to abseil from. You will be provided with the right clothes and you do not have to bring anything with you.

Fun for everyone - It was our first time and we had a lot of fun. At the beginning everything was explained and shown to us and then we started with the first abseiling.

Level fun full of jumps and surprises ! - We really enjoyed this experience. We were a bit afraid that a level one would not be as fun as we would like. We were wrong. It was fun, interesting, full of jumps ! Our 12 years old was soooo happy. Thanks to our guide Enzo we felt safe and adventurous ! Go ahead, you’n have an amazing time

Amazing!!! My teenagers had a blast!! - We were in a cruise and were in the port of Funchal. Booked the level 2 canyoneering for my three teens and it turned out to be the best day/excursion of the holiday. They collected and dropped us back right out of the port so as an activity for a cruise holiday it couldn’t have been easier. From the moment I first contacted the company by messenger through the Facebook link they were so efficient. Bruno was my kids guide and he did an amazing job. Super friendly knowledgeable and they had an incredible day. Another guide also joined them who was super and his name was Pedro. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone in Madeira or stopping for the day.

Great canyoning fun in Madeira - The whole adventure was really great - the information, the explaining, the feedback, and the sense of confidence and security induced by the instructors was really good. They can't be faulted for anything, as the experience delivered on what it promised. I appreciated the extra time to repeat some of the slides and jumps on natural pools, and the group size was also very adequate, without much waiting for other group members to finish their rappel. I would repeat this again with them, and would recommend anytone to book with them.

Did not get picked up for canyoning trip - We scheduled the canyoning trip with Fast Rope Madeira (via getyourguide) and we were very exited for this trip. Unfortunately we never had the chance to participate in this trip since we have not been picked up. 2 days in advance we received a message from Fast Rope Madeira (João) that we will be picked up from hotel Alto Lido (Funchal) on Friday September 29 at 8:45 am. On Friday, September 29, we (partner and I) waited in front of the hotel entrance at 8:30 am. We saw a number of vans passing by, unfortunately none from Fast Rope Madeira. At 9:00 am we called Fast Rope Madeira, on which David answers and says: we do not have trips today. It then becomes clear to David that we had a booked the trip via getyourguide. Then it is claimed that there was a trip, but that they had already visited our hotel. Fast Rope Madeira claims that they did everything in their power to reach us. - They tried to call us, yet we did not receive a call even though David verified the correct number; - They tried to email us, yet we did not receive a email that day (the email address was correct since we received an email with the pick-up time 2 days in advance); - They searched for us at the hotel and claimed that we were not outside, yet our travel group (20+ persons) can confirm that we were outside since they were also waiting for a different excursion. The people from our travel group also did not see anyone from Fast Rope Madeira; - Fast Rope Madeira claimed they went to the reception for us, (we were standing next to the entrance of the hotel) we went to the reception and were told that nobody had asked for us from Fast Rope Madeira. Unfortunately Fast Rope Madeira did not want to search for a solution that was suitable for both parties and gave as only option to give the money back. Due to the number of positive reviews, we had high expectations of the trip and we were very disappointed that we could not do the trip since it was the last day of our holiday. Unfortunately Fast Rope Madeira continues to lie to us, instead of recognizing that they made a mistake.
