Embark on a 2-hour level 1 canyoning adventure in Madeira, one of the region’s top activities. Our canyoning escapade commences at an elevation of roughly 4,921 feet (1,500 meters). The journey includes two areas designated for rappelling. You’ll need to rappel, swim, and leap to overcome nature’s obstacles along the way. This thrilling endeavour is ideal for first-timers looking to dip their toes into the exciting world of this sport.
- Health and Fitness: This 2-hour activity includes descending waterfalls, swimming, rappels, walking, abseiling, and jumping into lakes and waterfalls. A small level of fitness is required. Not suitable for individuals with severe health issues or limited mobility.
- Minimum age of 8 years old (or 125cm/25Kg)
- Rain or Shine: This tour will take place regardless of weather conditions (if it’s possible to do it safely)
- Canyoning Boots: Enhance your experience with optional Adidas Outdoor canyoning boots, available for rent at 5€ per person, payable in cash at the end of the activity
- Swimming: You don’t need to know how to swim but should feel comfortable around and in water.
- Beginner Friendly: Our Level 1 canyoning activity is perfect for beginners! No experience necessary; our professional guides ensure your safety.
- Multilingual Guide: Your tour may be led by a guide fluent in multiple languages. While we do our best to provide a guide who speaks your preferred language, this is not always guaranteed. In such cases, the tour will be conducted in English.

Top 👍🏻 World-class, you should definitely book on your holiday. - The two Gides/tour guides 👍🏻were at our (mom/teen) -
Tour Canyoning Level 1 on October 2, 24 already at the welcome very friendly+ helpful and explained the process, as well as important rules. Then we started in a wetsuit + gear. With the two Gides you felt absolutely safe, both Gides very experienced, always friendly and both have her ❤️ in the job .. it was mega fun. Absolutely top I found that both Gides take free photos and later send them via email. The entire tour was more than 5 ⭐️value. We were an 8th group and everyone was there with joy. Thanks also to our transfer driver who took us up to the start on an enormously steep route without "drinking"😅. Oh yes and the chocolate bar 🍫 gave power again after halfway. Recommend definitely / Experience even better.
Nevertheless, you should not be afraid of heights/water. Fitness and surefootedness should also be available. Level 1 is definitely well suited for tasting. Thanks to the whole team.

Fun activity with professional guidance. Highly recommended! - Super fun morning activity. A few small jumps, small pieces of abseiling and nice through the water and down the rocks through the canyon. We were a nice group of 10 men with 2 professional and super friendly guides. A lady in our group found it very exciting, but she was super supervised, so she came along well everywhere.

Unforgettable fun experience, a must do !! - From the initial pick up and transfer (by Carlos) to the start of the activity everything was clearly explained and all safety measures detailed out. Our guides, Lisandro & Tiago made it an unforgettable experience and were enthusiastic and engaging. My 2 teenage boys (17 & 15) loved it and did not want it to end. Great value for money and a great way to see another part of the island. We will definitely do it again on our next visit to Madeira.

Great beginner experience! - First time canyoning and it was great. The approximately 2.5 hour beginner tour was fun and I was never afraid. The obstacles were really easy to overcome and the explanations were very understandable.

Great tour and amazing views / nature - I joined two different tours with them last days. Nice guides who take care of everything and communicate clear all safety topics. Great views, amazing nature, and we had much fun with the guides and groups. After the tour the group receives photos the guides have done (included). I definitely recommend these tours.

Canyoning ribeira funda - A unique and spectacular experience. Thiago and Filipe are very good and professional, very technical and clear, they taught me and encouraged me where I wasn't comfortable and finally we tried new, fun downhill techniques! we always had fun in safety. The landscape is breathtaking, I have never seen anything more beautiful! it will remain an unforgettable memory.. and I hope to be able to return to Madeira soon and have more adventures with you Thank you so much 💚
