AMAZING TOUR & Super guides - AMAZING tour with two super guides. I highly recommend. Just a phonecall and they picked us up. The tour began in the direction of the west part of Funchal. Nice views and clear comments from our guides. À Nice stop at Camara de Lobos. A lovely port. Then our guides took us to a high pic view where we had an amazing view. These 2 guides are highly professionals, very sympathetic, and as they love their country they transmit this feeling easily. Our two teens really enjoyed this unusual trip. We’ll do it again for sure !!!

Câmara de Lobos fishing village - Câmara de Lobos is a very small fishing village easily accessed from Funchal on a local bus for around €2.20. When we visited there was lots of construction going on around the harbour area so it didn’t have a relaxing feel. The little harbour and colourful boats are cute and there’s an a abundance of coffee shops/restaurants. If you go up the steps behind the large seal mural in the harbour area there’s an interesting piece of artwork - a large stone bottom!! No idea why but it’s a fun place to pose for a photo.
