Professional, safe with positive vibe - I had pleasure to participate in 4 walking tours with Lido. Firstly I love the possibility for online booking and information about free seats. All information I get before the tours were clear. Bus was always on time. All the guides were very caring and friendly. They told a lot of interesting facts about the island. I felt that they really respect nature and love this island. I can honestly recommend Lido Tours.

Perfect walk and day with Rubinha - It started as a rainy day but once we have reached the destination for our walk the sun came out and we had a beautiful day and walk with the perfect mountain guide Rubinha. She shared her Knowledge of flora, fauna and history in a nice and entertaining way. Always remember: those guides Share the whole day with you and take care of everything. Please don‘t be too shy to give them at least a little tip at the end ❤️

Excellent guides, professional service - Although graded as easy, it is still worth remembering that there are a few steps to climb at the start of the walk. The walk is in a beautiful setting and follows the leads. Our guide Sara was very knowledgeable and provided lots of detailed information on the flora and fauna. You walk under a small waterfall and stop for lunch at another waterfall before returning the same way. There is a cafe and restaraunt at the end of the walk for refreshments and toilets. The bus also stops on the way to the walk at a supermarket where you can use the toilets and buy your lunch. Walking shoes and a waterproof jacket are recommended. This was our favourite levada walk of our trip.

Lovely, relaxing walk - This is a lovely, relaxing walk - easy terrain and beautiful forests and views. We loved having our picnic at the spring. The guide was informative and friendly. The communication was good and pick up all went smoothly. We did several other trips with Lido tours too and I would recommend them - they certainly helped us make the most of our time in Madeira.

Beautiful hike along the lavadas - I did the'hidden corners' walk today along the lavada in Sao Jorge. Had the lovely Charlotte guiding our group. Her enthusiasm and careful consideration for us all was much appreciated. Such a beautiful hike in the lush forest with beautiful views across the valley. While it's quite a long walk it's very easy going with just a bit of mud to contend with. Such a joy to be out in nature and explore the beautiful Maderia.

Great levada hike with Charlotte - We had a wonderful trip with Charlotte. A perfect day. Even if the weather wasn't great. Even with a little rain it was great. The tour starts and ends in a small café (no obligation to buy anything). Charlotte speaks French, English and a little German and Spanish.

Nice easy and interesting walk. - Nice easy walk, with pretty views. Our guide Charlotte was great, highly recommended. Turns out I'd left my cash at the hotel, which was an error since it starts and finishes at a nice wee cafe bar.

Relaxed hike in nature - It is a beautiful and relaxing hike along the Levadas. Good to master even for less fit people. However, it is important to be sure of your steps.

Good timing and guides, however information about possible changes of destination should be provided in advance - Excellent timing - no delays in pickup. Guides very helpful, providing a lot information, ready to answer any question. We made 2 tours and both were switched to other destination than initial due to weather. We would appreciate if such information was provided in advance. That would give opportunity to choose other activity instead.
