• Terreiro da Luta - The first stop is at Terreiro da Luta, a beautiful viewpoint a few kilometres from Funchal. 
• Pico do Arieiro - Pico do Arieiro, at an altitude of 1818 metres it is the third highest peak on the island and affords breathtaking views.
• Ribeiro Frio - Ribeiro Frio, where you can see its interesting trout farm. This area still has much of its original vegetation.
• Santana - Santana is characterised by its small thatched triangular houses. This is where we’ll make our main stop for lunch.
• Ponta de Sao Lourenco - Situated in the eastern part of the island, this is the place where a fantastic combination of rocks, sea and nature combine.
• Machico - The last town to be visited is Machico, a viewpoint where you can watch the bay and golden sandy beach.

You’ll climb to the third highest peak of the island, Pico de Arieiro, providing phenomenal island vistas.

Next, you’ll make a stop at Ribeiro Frio, which is the beginning of a renowned levada (watercourse) hike. Here, you’ll be amazed by trout ponds and discover the prehistoric forest encompassing Madeira.

After dining in the vibrant city of Santana, you’ll explore more extraordinary viewpoints such as Ponta de São Lourenço, and make a brief stop at Machico before returning to your lodgings in Funchal.
