The trail along Levada Nova and Moinhos takes you through lush greenery, past small waterfalls, and occasionally along narrow paths high above the ground. Therefore, this hike is recommended for those comfortable with heights. Rest assured, the breathtaking views are worth it! Additionally, a small picnic with local snacks is arranged along the way.

• please be aware that the weather in Madeira is unpredictable, it has a sub tropical climate and can change unexpectedly during the day. That means sometimes paths or places are closed by the local authorities or it might be too dangerous to do the originally planned trip. In these cases we are doing our best to inform you in time and offer you alternatives, but sometimes we need to be flexible on the tour day itself.
