Good experience with happy tours - We did 2 full day and 1 half day tour with Happy Tours and couldn't fault any of them. Both drivers, Lewis and Hugo were informative and friendly. We felt safe driving around with them and the amount of time at each stop was just right

Excelent ecperience, highly recommended ! - The tour was amazing, I've seen the wonderful landscapes.

Go West Tour - Small bus tour which is a great introduction to the west and all it's beauty. Our driver/guide, Hugo, was wonderful, and we learned so much about the history and culture of Madeira. Highly recommend it.

Great day tour option - This was a very well planned out tour and Hugo (sorry if I misspelled) was very knowledgeable and helpful. He told us a lot of interesting facts about the island and the residents which I enjoyed. We saw some beautiful locations and would definitely recommend this tour for those that don’t want to rent a car. This tour will take you to some of the major landmarks which is perfect if maybe your stay on island is limited or if you’re not sure on what to see during your visit.

Excellent tour company - This was our fourth tour with Happy Tours, having done three on a previous visit to Madeira.

Madiera West Tour - Good commentary by driver, good route with interesting views and experiences. Clean and safe vehicle. Plenty of opportunities for photography at amazing scenery. Good driver/customer interaction. We liked our trip very much.

Excellent value tour of a beautiful island - Highly recommend this tour and company. Our driver, Tino, was great and highly informative. Really good value overall and more intimate than the big bus tour alternatives.

The real Madeira in comfort - A really great day out. We were picked up very close to where we were staying. Our minibus was very comfortable shared with 6 other passengers. Our driver was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of Madeiran life culture, history and nature. All the stops were fully explained as to where to go and what to see, and we arrived back on time feeling we had really seen some great places we wouldn't have otherwise experienced. Highly rated.

Disappointing day - Go West Trip March 2025
Not really impressed with this trip.
Organisation, communication and timings all good and no issues.
Trip completely spoilt by a one passenger who spent the whole day trip talking to the driver whilst we were on the tour. Not the drivers/guide fault but he could have stopped this earlier instead he let it dominate the whole day. We did not want to hear hours of endless chat when we wanted to hear the guide and concentrate on what we were seeing. We were desperate for the tour to end!
Separately, the tour after the lunch stop at Porto Moniz was not that interesting and seemed hurried.
