Amazing tour of the West island - In April, we did the West Side Island tour with Lewis and had a fantastic time. The mini-bus was air conditioned - we had originally wanted a jeep tour but we're so grateful that we were in a very clean and cool minibus. Lewis was friendly, helpful, kind, picked us up from our hotel, was very knowledgeable about the tour as well as being humorous. He effortlessly explained in English and switched to German for one of our tour-mates, making sure that everyone understood. The actual tour was amazing-although you don't get long in each location, it's enough time to get a taste of the area and we found Madeira to be friendly and welcoming. The views were incredible, the island is beautiful and the way Madeira farms was of particular fascination to me. Swimming over lunch in the natural pools was without a doubt the highlight of our whole holiday; it was tranquil and beautiful, a memory we talk about regularly. We had heard others were worried that the price was so low, but the price is so fantastic for the quality of the tour - so much so that we booked another tour a few days later. If anyone visits Madeira, we would recommend Happy Tours, and Lewis, wholeheartedly.

Great trip - The Go West trip was wonderful. Our driver/guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and friendly and we saw some fabulous views

West full day tour - We went on the west tour with Hugo as our guide and driver. It was an amazing tour, we saw so much and Hugo was the icing on the cake! Very knowledgeable and friendly, just what you beed a driver to be. Definitely recommend this tour.

Beautiful walk with Happy Tours - We went through the agency Happy Tours to make 2 excursions. The first Go west with the very friendly Hugo as driver and Guide. Explains Madeira s history, vegetation and economy very well Always with little care and always attentive to his customers. And second Go East excursion with oh surprise the morning of. I excursion Hugo again as Guide. Thanks to him for showing us his island. Real happiness Eric and Myriam (Bus seat problem 😂)

Good value for money, friendly and knowlegeable tour guides - We did 2 x trips with Happy Tours. The Sunday market and West Coast tour and had Louis (Jr) and Hugo respectively. Both were very knowledgeable but I would say that I learnt so much more from our trip with Louis. He really went into the history of Madeira and provided so many interesting facts. On the other hand, Hugo also provided some great information and took us to a small banana plantation and went through the process of how these are harvested etc. I would highly recommend this company and so glad we opted to do the trips rather than hiring a car

Fabulous tour, highly recommend - A wonderful small group day tour with our guide Hugo. We learnt so much about the island, its history and its produce, who knew how fascinating banana cultivation was?! We were driven through the most spectacular landscape with lots of stops throughout the day. The weather was beautiful and so we enjoyed fabulous views into the valleys from the steep winding roads. Thank you Hugo and Happy Tours for a wonderful experience that left us wanting to return.

West tour with Luis - Our tour guide was Luis, we were collected promptly, small hiccup with a low tire pressure, soon remedied. He was very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable about the island. Excellent value for money. As a nervous passenger, I was reassured by his safe thoughtful driving. The stops were all beautiful and interesting. We passed through some of the most incredible scenery we have ever seen. The change in temperature due to the height of the mountains was awesome. Sensible shoes and light raincoat recommend for low clouds. Can't say enough positive things, great day, great driver, great price and certainly good value foe money. Thank you.

2 tours with Hugo - Went on 2 tours ,west and north both with Hugo our driver and guide. He is a credit to the company so knowledgeable and funny. Both tours were excellent value for money at 29 euros each,much cheaper than other companies. The island is a truly beautiful place and we recommend doing at least one tour to see what a gem it is.

Absolute professional attitude! - Absolute perfection and care for the customer! I entrusted Madeira Happy Tours the whole organization of our family vacation. We took West tour, East tour, Dolphins and Levada do Rei walk. Everything was on time, the drivers were very professional with great knowledge about the history and nature of the island.
