beautiful tour of the eastern part of Madeira - We were picked up nicely on time, the driver Tony was a good guide and knew a lot about Madeira with the necessary humor , we saw a lot of the island and had enough time to look at everything and take pictures.

Although the weather was... - Although the weather was wet the first portion of the day, it was a great tour of the north and northeast parts of Madeira. Daniel was an excellent driver and guide, and filled us in on an incredible amount of information and trivia, and allowed us ample time at the stops to enjoy them. The rum distillery was a highlight, as were several viewpoints, and the levada walk. Time well spent.

Very good tour with... - Very good tour with beautiful views. Weather varied from 1 degree Celsius ( and very wet and windy) at the top of the mountain to 19 degrees Celsius at sea level! Marco, the guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. We would recommend this great value tour.

Stunning tour and excellent stories - Amazing tour through the spectacular landscapes of Madeira! Our guide, Marco, was excellent, attentive, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We really enjoyed Marco’s insights about plants, agriculture, history and cultural contexts during the tour. His love for the island was very present in all his stories. We were taking this tour with our 2 y.o. toddler and everything was very kid-friendly! Everything was smooth, from the communication about pick-up to the timetable etc. The bus was very comfortable, clean and had a car seat ready for our toddler. And Marco is an excellent, obviously very skilled driver! We can’t recommend Spot Madeira Travel enough! Thank you, Marco!

East of the Island tour with Marco. - Spot Madeira Travel were excellent in all respects. Marco, our guide, took us to the top of the island where the sun shone and the views were breathtaking. Marco, with his command of several languages, was always attentive to the groups needs and willing to make adjustments to the timings in each location visited so that everyone felt calm and relaxed. His knowledge of the island was immense and he was able to put it into interesting stories as we went along. He drove very carefully which was essential when the journey involved some very high routes albeit on the high quality Madeiran roads. (He did show us some of the old roads, now abandoned, on the north coast which have now been replaced by tunnels and new roads - they were routes we would not have contemplated travelling on). We thought the day was so good we booked for the West of the Island trip later in the week. Many thanks, Frank, Maggie, Paul, Anne, Dave and Hazel.😊😊😊

Awesome trip - We went on this trip with my wife and loved it. The guide showed us extra locations and went through smaller roads and showed us places where tourists are not normally taken. It was a really awesome day and I would definitely recommend this tour.

Highly recommended guide! Perfect tours - We did some tours with guide Marco. Excellent guide. Very interesting it was to hear so much about Madeira. He knows all the plants, knows everything about geology and has also told a lot of news about life in Madeira. We had a wonderful time. He is very personable and absolutely reliable!
