Food and wine tasting experience 😋 - Our tour guide Matt met us exactly on time, he was very knowledgeable, a great host, good fun. He made sure we were we well looked after by booking ahead the food and wine tasing establishments. We really enjoyed the steady pace, and would recommend the experience.

Lovely way to sample some of the Maderian delights - Roberto was extremely informative and we got to try some really lovely Madeiran food and drink during the tour. Be warned the various drinks you taste are not sample sizes, but full drinks - not that we're complaining. 😊😊

It has a bit of... - It has a bit of everything. You won't just eat and drink. There will also be some cultural history. It is advisable to have a good breakfast beforehand and it is best not to plan any wine tasting afterwards as there is plenty there.

Overpriced and disappointed - Roberto was a very interesting and knowledgeable guide, and very personable and our score is not a reflection on him at all. However, the 'food' element of the tour was poor. Also tour is back to front, we started at 10am with no food, but tasting of Madeira wine. Wine nice, but not at 10am. We then had 2 chocolates (tasty) , followed by cake/biscuits, then 2 tiny crostini, some fruit, some boiled pork( one small bowl between 4 people) and finally a taste of tuna, polenta and bread( again a portion for 1 or 2 between 4 people). We were offered no hot drink. We had more alcohol with morning snacks, and none with the final tuna. All.very strange. We paid £73.50 each, which is very expensive for Madeira, and for the quantities we had.
