Book this excursion! You won’t regret it. - My husband and I were in Madeira for our honeymoon and wanted to do a boat tour with some form of dolphin/whale watching. This matched what we were looking for, but I must say…it really exceeded our expectations! We saw they already had great reviews, but you MUST book this tour and experience it for yourself to understand how fun, educational, and well thought-out this excursion is. We had the pleasure of doing the tour with Florine, Rubem and Guilherme, who were all lovely, charismatic and accommodating. Florine was very knowledgeable (I believe she is a marine biologist) and a great story-teller. The catamaran is beautiful, spacious and the perfect boat for this type of activity. It is clean, well-maintained, bathrooms included! You get amazing views from all over the boat (inside, outside, front, back - everywhere!) There were drinks and snacks (delicious fresh fruits) on the boat, which was a lovely touch! We were lucky enough to see some very friendly dolphins who swam right next to and under our boat. :). The biggest reason I would recommend booking this tour is the company’s message of ethically viewing/interacting with the marine animals. It is so much nicer to see them in the wild. They will happily come to see you at their own pace if they feel like it. The next time we come to Madeira, we will book with them again on one of the other boats that they have! It seems you can get a different experience depending on which boat you get!

Impressive - We had a lovely time the catamaran on the 16th of May, the crew were absolutely fantastic, I have limited mobility and they did their very best to make sure I saw as much as possible, we were fortunate to see some spotted dolphins and a turtle, the crew were concerned about the turtle as they didn’t usually come close to the boat, so they checked it wasn’t caught in anything. We had 18 people onboard, so lots of room for everyone, we received a complimentary drink, there was lots of fruit provided to enjoy and several brave souls went for a swim when we stopped and for those of a certain age there are two toilets onboard.

Nice sea trip - A great sea trip with a top crew, very friendly and respectful of wild animals. Very happy to have been able to approach dolphins and a turtle in an ideal setting!

Outing to do - Very friendly, top crew, not too many people on the boat, Florida, Fabio, Guillaume super nice. We saw dolphins and turtles. Small snack and fruit as desired. I recommend.

Magic - We had a great time with the crew including Florine who speaks French. There were only 16 of us on the catamaran and it was very appreciable. Competent, attentive and available staff. I agree 100%. A big thank you to the whole crew

Very friendly crew and full of information which found very interesting about the day - Was in Funchal for few days from a cruise 🛳 holiday & decided to book a few hours day on Catamaran and we had a fabulous day to the great crew which Froline ( the lovely girl) who gave great info about dolphins which was very interesting would definitely recommend this company we had a nice day Xx thanks 😊 again 😉

Absolute Magic (and dolphins) - What a fantastic way to spend three hours! We have been coming to Madeira on and off for the past 20 years and do a boat trip every year. Usually we opt for one of the bigger catamarans but selecting the Magic Dolphin Celebrity was the best decision. It was small so didn't feel over crowded and meant the crew could spend more time with us. Massive shout out to Natasha whose knowledge and enthusiasm really made the trip both enjoyable and interesting, there is nothing better than being around someone who loves what they do and the enthusiasm was infectious! Thank you to the crew if the Magic Dolphin Celebrity...had a blast!
