Fantastic afternoon tour - Excellent Nuns Valley tour. With fantastic views a walk to the top of the mountain with stunning views. Our coach driver and guide (Tio) was so knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth the trip. Thank you again happy tours.

Most beautiful day in Madeira - Beautiful tour on Madeira. Our driver was so informative and nice. The sights were outstanding. We for sure want to go back. Thank you for waiting on us. Our ship was late coming in. Loved everything about this tour.

Wonderful tailed trip - It was lucky only 2 of us on board. Nico was knowledgeable and introduced nice treats at Nuns valley. He gave us a private tour to the museum on the side. He was very good to tail the trip for us that he drove us to Prair Formosa rather than Camara de Lobos. We enjoy the trip very much.

Nice half day shore excursion - It was a wonderful half day tour to visit the Nuns Valley, the scenery was breathtaking. Visited all four points of interest on Madeira Island. Tour guide/driver Hugo was knowledgeable. The 2 of us the small group tour size in a comfortable van for a total of 7 people. Highly recommended this tour.

We love Happy Tours! - We always use Happy Tours for our Madeira trips, we have now been on all of them! The coaches are comfortable and air conditioned and we always feel safe with the drivers, even when going round a hairpin bend with a huge drop at the side of the road! The driver/guide is always informative not just about the tour they are leading but about the island in general. At the last minute we decided to go on the Sunday market tour, something we never do in other countries because they are 'all bags and belts'. So glad we did, yes there are bags and belts but also a fantastic farmer's market with interesting displays of fruit, vegetables and plants, recommended.

Nuns Valley Trip - so worth it - After such an amazing tour with Lewis a few days prior, we decided to book another Happy Tours excursion, this time to Nuns Valley. We booked this for the day we were leaving and it was an amazing half-day tour, a perfect way to extend our holiday and not just wait around for it to end. Niko picked us up in a clean, air-conditioned, new mini-bus. It was comfortable and safe. The last time we did a tour, we paid to be collected. This time, we decided to get a taxi - we should have paid to be picked up. The collection was smooth and easy, the taxi was a faff and didn't save us any money. Niko was a calm and informative tour guide, explaining the area and offering extra information whenever he could. He gave us recommendations where to get the best poncha, which local pastries to try, and all his suggestions were delicious. The tour was really interesting, learning about the growing of chestnuts in the area and the invasion of eucalyptus to native plants. The view into Nuns Valley is fantastic and the little fishing village was beautiful. This was a great trip with a fantastic tour guide.

A morning with Fred - We had a very enjoyable Nuns Valley tour with Fred our guide and driver. The road up to the view point above Nuns Valley is not fir the faint hearted. And the village of Nuns Valley is very pretty with a lovely little Church. There were only 4 of us on the tour so were very fortunate. The last stop too was a beautiful little town in what seemed like the middle of a festival to St Peter. Thank you Fred you were first class

Fantastic tour. - Loved this tour. Tino our guide was so nice, knowledgeable and obviously loves where he lives. The stops were good and there was enough time to have a look around. Booking was easy and reasonably priced.

Fabulous Valley of the Nuns Morning Tour - Fabulous morning tour with 2 other couples and our tour guide, Nico, who was very knowledgeable about the area and stopped several times to allow us to admire the views and points of interest along the journey, not just the main stops. We don't usually do organised tours when we're on holiday, but we saw parts of the island that we just would not have otherwise seen. There is no way we would have hired a car to drive ourselves on those steep roads, hairpin bends and sheer drops! Thank you Nico for a wonderful and memorable morning.
