Fantastic tour - We had a lovely tour of Funchal old town with Julia today. It was very informative and interesting and the two hours passed by in a flash. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it if you like finding out about local history and enjoy a relaxing walk around a city. Julia was a great guide and we understand that she is sadly returning home soon and will undoubtedly be greatly missed (thanks again Julia).

A must in Madeira - Don’t be afraid to go by yourself! I think walking tours are brilliant when visiting a new place and Julia’s passion is infectious and she was really knowledgable. Bring a hat as it can be warm out and about.

Excellent tour - My daughters and I did a tour on July 8, 2024. We had a wonderful guide. She provided us with interesting details for each place we visited. She gave helpful tips about where to buy traditional foods. She allowed us to take the time we wanted at each stop. I found her engaging and curious about where we were from. Overall I would highly recommend.

interesting guided tour - Had a super fun tour of Zoey. She knew how to tell us a lot about the old town. We were 15 min late for the group tour and she waited especially for us to show us around. Compliment for the organization

A historical walking tour that supports the university students - This was a great tour, led by Julia. I didn't realise when I booked, but these tours are run by the university, and help provide support for students through grants for accomodation and living costs. The tour itself took us round most of Funchal's main historical sites, and Julia provided good insight in an accessible and fun way.
