The morning is typically spent exploring the southwestern coastline around Ribeira Brava and the charming village of Ponta do Sol.
Travel along the old roads, near the stunning southwestern cliffs, ascending from sea level to approximately 1500m at Paul da Serra.
Stop at all the best photo opportunities, maintaining a relaxed atmosphere, away from the usual tourist paths.
- Ribeira Brava - Enjoy spectacular views from an open-top army jeep, always away from the crowds and impersonal tours.
Experience Ribeira Brava from a unique perspective, always off the beaten path.
The tour passes through the village with several stops for photos and explanations.

After coffee, the tour ascends from sea level to 1500m altitude, via old roads and off-road paths, in a calm, safe, and relaxed manner, to one of the west tour’s main attractions, the plateau, Paul Da Serra, where wildlife coexists with cattle grazing peacefully.
- Paúl da Serra chapel - Weather permitting, take a walk along a section of a levada for about 30/40 minutes (optional) in Paul da Serra. Flexible.
Alternatively, enjoy a walk in Fanal Forest.
- Paul da Serra - Cross the only plateau in Madeira, known as the “Madeiran tundra,” heading towards Porto Moniz. If the weather is favorable, spend ample time here, taking in the incredible views from above the volcanic valleys, formed during the third phase of eruptions that created Madeira island.
It takes about 45 minutes to cross the plateau.
