Sunny day for dolphins and whales - Beautiful sunny day. Had thought would be cold but very warm and able to catch some sun. Saw dolphins and pilot whales. The info had said only stops for a swim in summer, but did stop for exactly that! Sadly I had not brought my costume - so missed out. Didn't spoil the trip though. Just lovely.

Lovely morning trip - Very interesting trip, saw Dolphins and Whales and great views of Madeira on the wat back. Thumbs up to the crew who took plastic flotsam out of the water as we went.

Absolute recommendation - We had a great afternoon here! Had to move our trip spontaneously due to bad weather, which was no problem at all. And then had a great ride in bomb weather. Have seen whales and dolphins and sailing back to port has rounded everything off perfectly!

Great trip, great crew, dolphins up close! Would go again. - Great trip. The crew were excellent, despite our group of passengers not being the most enthusiastic! At all times 1 or 2 crew were looking for dolphin/Wales and pointed out any they saw, they detoured to collect some plastic waste they saw, and were very attentive particularly to those less mobile or elderly. We were fortunate enough to have a 5-10mins with a pod of dolphins playing with the prows of the catamaran. Pilot Wales had also been spotted in the days previously however we didn't get to see these. Some great sites and a relaxing trip even if you are unfortunate and don't spot the dolphins and Wales.

Madeira - This is a must do while in Madeira, the trip was very smooth and pleasant we got to see Pilot Whales. The boat starts in Funchal bay heading towards the deserted inlands so you can get a look at Whales and Dolphins, right after this the boat head towards Cabo Girão sand stops there for about 30 Minutes, i believe that in the summer months they will stop so you can swim , after our stop we head slowly to Funchal passing by Câmera De Lobos (where i am from) this is the most beautiful fisherman village in Madeira. The fish there is always fresh and you must try the traditional fisherman's Poncha as this is the original one. Once in Funchal you Disembark just by Praça Do Povo and they have some nice places for a bite or a drink. The trip is around 3 Hours and the booking slots are 10:30 Am and then again around 3PM to 5PM Hope you enjoy as much we did

Nice experience! And we saw whales! - Booked at short notice but everything worked out very well! Well organized and nice crew. The crew went to great lengths to make sightings of dolphins or whales possible and after almost two hours this was also successful. We found it very nice that this was not a full speed cruising around, but it went very prudently. Even when we approached the short-finned pilot whales, this was done very carefully on a small trip or switched off engine! Conclusion: We'll be back!

Worth it - Very nice tour in windy weather the captain looked for a long time but then we saw grint whales. Nice would be even more information to the island they can be seen well from ship. Otherwise everything great again

Terrible - Never again - To put it in one word: Terrible. We did the afternoon tour today. In total there were about 30 people on the boat, which according to its own information holds about 100 people, which I find far too oversized. I found the boat with 30 people quite tight. After a very close briefing for the life jackets, the ride started. We drove along the coast for an hour. In between, the employees have always looked obligatorily through the binoculars to see if animals can be seen nearby, but also not really properly. After about 1:15h the driver suddenly turned and we headed back. However, this happened completely without announcement and even during the whole trip the crew said nothing except the briefing and the announcement of the shot. On the way back, the boat had to contend with high waves and accordingly swayed vigorously throughout the trip. As a result, all the people sitting in the “outdoor area” quickly became soaking wet, as the waves spilled directly onto the boat. So all 30 inmates quickly stormed into the interior, which, however, was only designed for about 20 people. Accordingly, it was tight the whole way back. Throughout the return journey, the waves literally crashed on our boat and washed it with water. Also the protective tarpaulin of the interior unfortunately did not properly protect against the waves hitting the boat, so that here too most people continued to get soaking wet. In addition, about 5 people had to vomit again and again due to these circumstances. The whole trip was a complete disaster. Not a single animal was seen, there were no announcements, the boat is definitely not designed for 100 people (not even 30), the waves have left almost all occupants soaking wet and many had to fight with nausea. After the ride, the driver briefly thanked him and mentioned that it is not always possible to ensure that animals are seen. There was no compensation (not even remotely). I would not recommend this provider and would rather advise not to. In retrospect, I learned that other providers did not offer a tour today due to the weather and the resulting waves. In any case, this provider did not care much. This is probably primarily about making a profit. Never again. Better take another provider!

Could not attend due to illness - I was not well and contagious with a bad chest infection, as advised by a medical professional that I could put other passengers at risk If I went on the tour I decided not to attend, absolutely gutted as really looking forward to seeing the island. Anyway no refund or credit note given
