One of the highlights of our trip to Madeira - Very professional throughout. Really well paced and informative tour. Excellent knowledge about Madeira's flora and fauna. Beautiful walk and great levada walk.

Brilliant experience - My daughter (aged 10) and I loved this walk. It was a chance to see the island in a different way and have a bit of peace from the busy hotel and city. We learnt so much from Louisa, our guide, who talked us through the plants and history of the island. The walk was just the right length for us and the cafe afterwards was lovely. The communication from the company beforehand was great. A wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our holiday, thank you.

Steady walk and scenery was great. - Steady walk with some great views, 5k, no trouble at all.
Make sure you keep your eyes on the path, some very steep, fantastic drops on your right as you start.
Drive up there was very scenic, again, drops to the side.
Guide was very nice and informative.
👍🏻👏🏻

A must for Travellers of all fitness levels - I found this company really easy to deal with. They were able to steer us to an easy Levada walk to begin our experience in the Madeira mountains; and, they were able to accommodate a last minute necessary re-schedule of same.
We had a lovely half day trek through amazing landscape in the company of our lovely mountain guide, Rubi, who gave us lots of info as we went along. Amazed at the ingenuity of farming in the uplands, we even met some very generous local ladies on their lunchbreak, who treated us to some of their freshly picked plums.
On the way back to base we enjoyed a very pleasant stop off at a bakery/cafe for a bonus cuppa with freshly baked pastries.
If I can do it, you can too. Well worth the price.

Best as unguided - Very nice easy walk. I went with a bilingual group so we stopped quite a bit for points of interest. Next time I would do it alone. It is an easy path to follow, you don't need a guide. I wanted to walk and not have a guided tour. If that is the case, do drop off and pickup or use local buses

Excellent “taster” Levada walk if more limited for time - Very pleasant and informative 5km walk with some fantastic views.
Essentially all on the flat. A few short sections where path narrows to a few feet where drops to side of several feet so good balance/proprioceptive skills needed.
Tour guide and driver welcoming, friendly helpful.
Good value for money.
Overall tour took ~ 4 hrs from pick up to drop off. Actual walking took 2 hrs. Stopped for toilets/coffee for 20 minutes at a village on minibus journey back to Funchal.
Highly recommended.

Lavada walk - Although the information on my ticket said it was a hotel pick-up, I was sent a link to Google maps. It was very confusing as the app couldn't find the place and it was difficult to know what I was looking for. Maybe give people a landmark instead?
Walk was lovely but with a bilingual group, it takes longer for explanations at each stop. This walk could easily be done as self guided as it would be difficult to get lost.

Levada walk cut short! - Loved the levada. However, the walk was cut short by a road race and the alternate route was more challenging than we expected. The guide was entertaining but not all that attentive to the clients.
