A great fun day out - The whole day was enjoyable and informative. Great places to visit and our driver/ host/ photographer and entertainer, luciano was friendly, and great fun. Lots of banter along the way. He made the trip even more enjoyable. The restaurant was lovely and got back in time for happy hour at the hotel. A great day out

Don't miss the opportunity to see this part of Madeira - This part of the island has so few tours, which is a shame, as it is the warmest part of the island and some beautiful villages and photo opportunities. Our lovely guide did an amazing job translating into English, French and Italian as well as Portuguese. Very considerate, as I was travelling alone, that I sat at the front of the vehicle. Vehicle was very comfortable and all in all a lovely day.

In spite of the weather...... - Diogo was an excellent driver and guide. We felt safe with him on some difficult roads. He was able to change between French and English with ease and humour! He knew the spots to stop and view. The southern corner of the island is often overlooked but it has some fantastic spots.we took advantage of the restaurant lunch and although the place didn't look much the food was excellent and very popular.

Patience is a vertue - Amazing views, and many photos. Our driver from Liana's Best Walks and Tours Madeira (not by Lido Tours) was very informative, friendly, and patient (patience was needed on this tour). It was a very nice day.

All tours were professionally... -
All tours were professionally organized, tour guides were very informative. Day itinerary very well planned out as each driver seemed to know the island weather and made the most of the situation to provide the best tour. Job well done.

Not enough time in Calheta. - Went with lido tours on this south coast tour as we had done most of the others with them other years. A bit disappointed really as we had an hour and half in a remote village restaurant with nothing to do do as no other shops or anything to see so we didn’t want a full meal either so time dragged other stops were ok but the best stop Calheta we only got half an hour which was a shame as it was a lovely place and we would have liked longer. Our guide Nuno was great and knowledgeable. But the separate seats on the mini bus were awful Iv got bad knees and I was crunched up so uncomfortable also no armrests whic was unusual on a mini bus.
