- Pico Do Areeiro - There is no better way of starting the day than to experience the unique sunrise in Madeira… very invigorating! An event of this nature, only Pico do Areeiro can provide at it’s best. We start climbing up to Areeiro, the 3rd highest peak of Madeira with 1818m of altitude. We climb via Camacha, a little village in the mountains famous by it’s wickers pieces. After Camacha is Poiso, wich has a shelter house now turned in to a bar/restaurant, and marks the 1500m of altitude… and finally we arrive at Pico do Areeiro, the highest point in Madeira, and an unique place to watch the sunrise After the sunrise we go down in remote routs, in which we can appreciate Santo da Serra, a village surrounded by raw nature and breathatking views. The final descent to Santa Cruz, a city most known by the airport, and we will use very remote and narrow roads, that provides amazing postcards pictures. - Balcoes de Ribeiro Frio - The beautifull viewpoint is in the middle of the Laurisilva Forest, along a very flat hiking trail… at the end you will be amazed by the views! - Miradouro do guindaste - A beautifull glasswalk viewpoint in Santana’s district called Faial, where we can see the beautifull northcoast of Madeira, where you will be overwhelmed by the views!

Sunrise above the clouds - It was a fun and exiting experience. We went for the sunrise tour and short hike plus some additional view points and unexpected off road experience to the waterfall.
Hugo was on time, shared his knowledge about Madeira. We also enjoyed coffee together.
Small group of people of people enjoying our trip.
Highly recommend

What an experience 😁😁 - From the moment Hugo picked myself and my wife up at 6am, we experienced one of the best days we have had on holiday
Hugo made sure our journey was extremely enjoyable. He was most knowledgeable and was more than able to answer all our many questions and made us feel very welcome
The sunrise Itself was magnificent. Nothing we have ever experienced before.
Hugo had us there before the crowds and we were able to get a fantastic spot.
We then had a Levada walk where it seemed we were the only people in the woods. The rustle of the birds was the only sound apart from ourselves.
Cup of well needed coffee followed by a trip to the glass platforms over the ocean.
A fantastic trip greatly enhanced by our host Hugo

Magical morning! - Had the most amazing morning watching the sky change colors and the sun rise above the clouds. It really is a magical, and I highly recommend the early rise to get to experience it. The levada walk through the forest, coffee stop, and stunning viewpoint were the icing on the cake!

What an amazing sunrise - A real highlight of our trip. Our guide (Hugo) was so helpful as soon as we booked, and provided updates to weather and even potential road closures due to the annual rally event. So worth getting up early to see the amazing sunrise, and loved the lavada walk and other beautiful stops. Worth every penny and a memory that will last a lifetime

Unreal experience!!!! - My husband and I are visiting Madeira on our honeymoon - we have been here for 5 days and our tour today was our favorite day so far. Hugo was extremely accommodating & picked us up at our hotel right on time, and explained so many details about the island throughout the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!! Thanks again, Hugo!

Magnificent! - We felt very safe with Hugo. He was very respectful, polite and caring. He gave us blankets when we went to see the sunrise as it was pretty chilly and we were cold. We never felt rushed. He was very informative and explained a lot about the history of places and answered all of our questions. This is the best deal I found as we managed to see three different places. It is absolutely worth the money. I definitely recommend this!! The views were magical.

Personal, laid back tour which ticks all boxes ! - Hugo was delightful and collected us at our hotel spot on time. After collecting another client we started the climb to Pico Ariero, and enjoyed a personalised tour for 3 of us which was wonderful. Hugo’s knowledge and passion for Madeira was evident in his excellent and interesting explanations. Our other 2 destinations were also beautiful and well worth the visit. Avoid the big tour groups, Hugo will give you a visit you’ll remember. Full marks !!

Book with Hugo! - We had a wonderful tour with Hugo. There are several options for sunrise tours, but I would book with Hugo again. He is very knowledgeable and easy going. He contacted us the day before to update us on the weather and arrange an early morning pick up from the hotel. On the drive, he pointed out and described points of interest. At the top of Pico de Arieiro, he walked us down a short path and suggested several places for us to watch the sunrise. We then watched the sunset solo. What a beautiful moment! The weather was a little misty and moody, but it made the pictures more interesting! Afterwards we took a short drive through a beautiful forest and stopped for coffee and another short hike to a view point. The last stop of the day was one of my favorite spots on the island and not to be missed Miraduoro do Guindaste! Thank you Hugo, one of my favorite parts of the trip!
