This trail, situated in the central mountainous region, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, valleys, mountains, villages, as well as insights into local history and customs, and the area’s fauna and flora. Visit the Ninho da Manta, then travel by car to Achada do Teixeira, where a 2.5-kilometer hike to Pico Ruivo awaits, followed by a 2.5-kilometer return to the car.
Alternatively, opt for a scenic car tour to the pools of Porto Moniz, exploring the entire North Coast and its most picturesque spots. This activity is designed for private groups of up to 4 people.
