Madeiras crown jewel - We really enjoyed this breathtaking experience. This island surprises us every day. The PR1 walk is unfortunately only part open due to a huge fire in August. The amount of people doing that route this morning was insane tbh. We took the PR3 route down to the pink house. It was a fantastic experience and much quieter. Our driver and tour guide was excellent. He was warm and friendly. He provided us with so much information. We cannot recommend this trip enough.

Must visit! - Must visit in Madeira - views were incredible! Majority of original route was closed due to a fire but company organised a similar route, so still doing Stairway to Heaven before completing a different hike from the same location. Really helpful communication and lovely driver.

Stunning Sunrise and Epic Hike - Our driver, Nuno, picked us up right on-time at our hotel at 6am. There were a total of 8 guests. Approaching Pico do Arieiro we were shocked to see how many tourists were there. Massively crowded and absolutely no place to park. Fortunately for us, Nuno drove us directly to the top and dropped us off. Due to the wild fires, the PR1 route to Pico Ruivo was closed. We were able to view the stunning sunrise above the clouds and then do the 3km round trip hike to the stairway to heaven and return to the starting spot. This was definitely a moderate hike with lots of steps and elevation change. We then began the second hike, PR3. This trail was not crowded at all. This was 90% downhill covering 7.2km. It took us 4 hours. Nuno met us at the agreed upon time and location. 10km of hiking was a lot, but so worth it. One of the best hikes (and sunrises) in my lifetime. Having a driver to drop us off and pick us up eliminated a lot of stress and made it so enjoyable. Highly recommend!

On Time, Informative and Overall Fantastic - The driver picked me up in time and got everyone to the peak with plenty of time for the sunrise. There were no issues and I'd highly recommend this company. The sunrise itself was also incredible. Note that PR1 was closed because of the wildfires but PR3 was a good alternative to do.

Beautiful view - Although the fog unfortunately prevented us from seeing the sunrise, the view was beautiful when the weather cleared. Furthermore, despite very good hiking boots, the route was partly quite slippery because of the weather, although not everyone seemed to be affected by this. I will definitely be back to hike the entire PR1. That was not possible now because of the forest fires.

Great Holiday Experience - Great experience, well organised. Highly recommend the early start to beat the crowds. Driver was very informative and explained all in great detail. Even shows us some of the sights on the way back to our drop-off.

Brilliant experience - Prior to the trip we didn’t have information until last minute but once we made WhatsApp contact the text messages were really good and helpful. The company went out of their way to collect us outside of Funchal. The sunrise was on another level. The best experience ever. Filipe was such a nice guy and really informative. The best guide we could have asked for. We did an alternative to PR1 as it was closed. We felt a little rushed on this walk with the allocated time… needed another 30-45 mins

Cute but could have been better - Leaving aside that we were not warned of the change of plans due to the damage of the fire (you can only get to the stairs to paradise and then you find a gate) until we were the ones asking, the punctual and nice driver took us to the point where he pointed us to the place where to see the sunrise and then indicated how to proceed to the path they had given as a replacement. Very nice however to see the sunrise from that viewpoint and the replacement trekking (all downhill) was still nice to do! There is also a nice bar at the end of the route to eat something good before heading back to the city I hope they reopen the original trail soon or lower the price of the experience

Tour Co Cancelled - The tour cancelled at 515am which was one hour prior to departure due to driver illness. The company should have a back up plan for contingencies. They did offer to reschedule however we are leaving the island. Very disappointing.
