Perfect way to explore Madeira - I admit I got on the trike with some trepidation, but I needn’t have worried. Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing three hour experience. John picked us up from our hotel, took us up to Eira do Serrado for spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and looking down into Nun’s Valley. We then descended on the trike into Nun’s Valley, stopped for a poncha, which is a (very) potent, but delicious, local drink of rum, honey/sugar and citrus juice, then continued on the trike through more spectacular scenery before ending our tour in Câmara de Lobos. John was an excellent, informative and very knowledgeable guide. I felt really safe and enjoyed the adventure so much I will be booking again to discover more of this beautiful island when I return to Madeira next June.

Great adventure on trikes. - Excellent day out for ourselves and two friends with two trikes. Pick up on time from Hotel and given choice of areas to visit. We chose Nuns Valley which was well worth it with great views and hidden areas not usually seen on ordinary tours. This was our second trip and will book again on return in the future. Well done John and Garth our quizzes.

Day out with grandsons - Booked 2 trikes for afternoon out with young grandsons. Fantastic trip ,really enjoyed by all .Grandsons ages are 7 &10 felt really safe would definitely recommend it for all ages ,the tour guides were great with kids ,also very informative .Been on car tours before, but this experience was so much better ,would definitely do again Bernadette&David

A different and exciting way to see Madeira. - Adventure Trikes are a brilliant way to see the real Madeira. This is our third trip with them, so knowledgeable and they take you to places you would never find on your own. Be back again in November.

6 hr experience tour Nuns Valley - Excellent tour and best experience my family has ever had. The Trikes were amazing. The tour guides / drivers were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We did the 6 hour tour visiting Nuns Valley, Santana. Lots of opportunities to take photographs of the stunning scenery. Highly recommend,and hopefully see these great guys next year.

Not just for Bikers! - Sitting on the back of a trike may not be at the top of everyone’s ‘to do’ list but it should be! Our driver and guide, Joao, could not have been more helpful and informative. He made sure our helmets fitted, provided warm jackets when the temperature dropped and delivered us to some less trodden and unusual places. Seeing the sights as we travelled, feeling the temperature changes as we climbed and descended and smelling the flowers as we wafted by made this a memorable experience. It is just a little bit different and changes a tour into an experience.

Trike Tour With John of Adventuretrikes - Absolutely Awesome trip around Madeira inc Christ the redeemer statue in the East and finishing off at Nuns Valley. John has a encyclopaedia like knowledge of Madeira and certainly knows his way around the island, he is great company and easy going. It was just brilliant We are back in March so another tour is definitely on the cards

The best trip ever - I have been coming to Madeira for 30 years and this was the best trip I've done by far. Went though the waterfall which was amazing. Soon dried off.
