- Ribeira Brava - This municipality is named after its river, Ribeira Brava, meaning ‘the angry river.’ During rainy seasons, the river’s powerful current often caused significant damage along its eight-kilometer course.
- Madalena do Mar - Next, we head to Madalena do Mar, a charming spot surrounded by lush green banana plantations.
- Bishop’s Fountain - At an altitude of 1300-1500 meters, we find the tourist attraction Paúl de Serra, which serves as the starting point for several levada walks through the Laurissilva forest, including a stop at the Fonte do Bispo viewpoint.
- Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools - The natural swimming pools in Porto Moniz are formed by volcanic lava and filled with crystal-clear sea water. These pools are the highlight of Porto Moniz village. Covering an area of 3800 m², the site includes a children’s pool, play area, and disabled access. Amenities include parking, changing rooms, bathrooms with lockers, a summer snack bar, first aid, and sun loungers and sunshades for hire.
- Seixal - Seixal is known for its tranquility and stunning landscape, featuring green mountains and crystal blue sea. Porto do Seixal Beach, a natural black sand beach, offers breathtaking views of the island’s north coast. The beach has toilet facilities, showers, and access to the Clube Naval do Seixal Pools, which include a natural pool and sun loungers. Kayaks and diving equipment are available for rent.
- Sao Vicente - São Vicente is characterized by lush greenery and abundant forests, shaped by volcanic activity and erosion. A notable landmark is the small chapel built inside a basalt rock at the mouth of the stream running through the town.

After that we go to Madalena do Mar, where we will visit the banana plantation. Then we go to Fonte do Bispo, this is a view point located between 1300 and 1500 meters. After that we get to Porto Moniz, which is famous for its series of natural volcanic pools created by reefs in the coastal lava rocks. The next stop is Seixal, there is a beautiful black sand beach. Then we make our way to the town of São Vincent, which is one of the most predominant villages of the northern coast of Madeira island. Our last stop, is Camara do Lobos, famous fishing village; and favourite painting spot of the late Winston Churchill!
