Best of the West - Our guide was so friendly, polite, happy, funny and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about the island and local culture/history. The sites were superb and there was plenty of time at each area to enjoy it all.
The only thing I would recommend for anyone going on the trip, is to take travel sickness tablets, even if you’ve never suffered with it before, as the roads are continually windy.
Our guide was a very considerate driver and the travel sickness and roads were not his fault.
A great day out….thank you! 🤩

Fantastic day - Our tour guide was renaissance man Eduardo who has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Madeiran and was determined to show us the best of the West. A kind and generous guide, Eduardo ensured that we had a fantastic day out and provided us with lots of information, tips and advice for the rest of it stay on the island. We cannot thank him enough for a truly memorable tour ... and he had a beautiful singing voice. Heartily recommended.

Excellent day out - A wonderful day out. Very well organised. Fernando, our driver, was knowledgeable, courteous and a very careful driver. He spoke excellent English for us and gave us just the right amount of information. We saw some lovely villages and scenery and the timing in each stop was just right. Thoroughly recommend D-G Travel and Viator.

West tour Madeira - Just returned from a great trip to Porto Moniz in Madeira, 17th Nov. Tour booked through DG travel and our tour guide and driver, Rafael, made the day both great fun and informative. Rafael shared interesting knowledge of the island and it's history and all delivered with great humour. There were eight in our tour group and a lot was packed into the schedule but it never felt rushed. We visited advertised places of interest and others and had plenty of time at Porto Moniz to swim in the volcanic pools and ended the day enjoying a poncha and sharing some laughs. Would highly recommend the tour but especially our tour guide Rafael, who really made the day.

Madeira tour of the west! - Our tour guide, Dennis, was excellent, full of information and humor throughout the day! If you’d like to see different parts of the island in one day this tour is for you. An awesome experience overall. A little longer than scheduled but wasn’t too bad.

Sightseeing west of Madeira - We booked the tour as Aida guests.
First of all, we would like to rate the organization and punctual pick-up as very positive. We were a small group of 7 people and had a very friendly and helpful driver.
We did the West of Madeira tour and got a first impression of the island.
It was a shame, however, that the guide didn't say much about Madeira itself during the entire 7-hour tour and the back rows had difficulty understanding the driver due to the lack of a microphone etc.
We would have liked to have learned more about Madeira and life than just seeing the most important highlights in western Madeira.

Stay away - Don’t use this company. Tour guides are very rude and just want to finish their tours. Disgusting guide and disgusting service. Stay away!
