We had a great time on... - We had a great time on this tour and the driver was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately we were late being collected but through no fault of the driver (anccident en route) and the tour company kept us informed. We were collected from the cruise port right by our ship which was just perfect, thank you.

West Madeira Tour with Rafael - We traveled on the Tour de l'Ouest, with Rafael, who was an excellent guide, preaching for the sympathy and great "culture" of the island :)
Despite not being born on the island, she showed an interest in everything that surrounds her, including history, biology and gastronomy :)
Thank you for everything, including the surprise of singing the "parabens" sung by the whole group!

Highly recommended company and trips - Thoroughly recommend this company for both East and West tours if visiting Madeira. Both sides of the island very different so you need to do both. I went with 86 year old mother and both drivers were exceptionally caring and kind to her. We had Bruno for one and Fernando for the other. Both superb and make it a very pleasurable informative day out. Amusing and genuinely lovely chaps. After the terrifying trips done on the local buses (cornering fast around very high twisting roads) it was wonderful to be driven safely and sedately by them. Do wear t-shirts for South coast and then jumpers and thick coat for both trip as so much colder in the North in December. Scenery spectacular and highly recommended for all ages.

Great day out - Went on the west of island tour yesterday with Raphael. He was excellent, very knowledgeable about the island and the places we visited, also the flora and fauna. We were very impressed. A great tour in a comfortable minibus with plenty of time to explore. Saw and learnt about parts of the island we would never have found ourselves. Highly recommended

Best of the West - Our guide was so friendly, polite, happy, funny and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about the island and local culture/history. The sites were superb and there was plenty of time at each area to enjoy it all.
The only thing I would recommend for anyone going on the trip, is to take travel sickness tablets, even if you’ve never suffered with it before, as the roads are continually windy.
Our guide was a very considerate driver and the travel sickness and roads were not his fault.
A great day out….thank you! 🤩

A wonderful tour. - Rafael was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Madeira. My husband and I really enjoyed the West tour. We had the right amount of time at each stop. We got so much information about the island. I would highly recommend this tour.

Good overview west tour - The west tour was good, the driver and tour operator was ok. We stopped at almost all the sites as described, except we didn’t stay within the prescribed time, we also did not do a proper stop at Seixal Beach which was disappointing.
The tour operator provided some good information but in the second half of the tour had some strong personal opinions which wasn’t appropriate for the tour.

Madeira tour of the west! - Our tour guide, Dennis, was excellent, full of information and humor throughout the day! If you’d like to see different parts of the island in one day this tour is for you. An awesome experience overall. A little longer than scheduled but wasn’t too bad.
