Additional Information

Embark on a journey back to the historic Belo Horizonte.

We offer a casual 3-hour excursion, where we explore the history of Belo Horizonte as depicted by renowned writers like Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Henriqueta Lisboa, Pedro Nava, and Mário de Andrade.

Our journey begins at the Church of Boa Viagem, from where we delve into the writings of age-old poets and chroniclers to bring to life the Belo Horizonte they experienced, now only alive in their records.

We will share captivating tales of a BH constructed on the remnants of a city over a couple of centuries old, a city obliterated from existence for the sake of modernity.

Join us as we revisit the lives of impactful political and artistic figures from the previous century, juxtaposing poetry, short tales, intriguing anecdotes, and historical images with today’s landscapes.
