Denver Rental Car Fees - Rented a car from Budget Rental Car for 11 days. No problem with Budget base rate or the midsize car.
The fee for the car alone was $525.09 for 11 days.
The added fees and taxes were $252.12 - or 48% of the base rental fee !!!! Tax = $93.91 (17.9%), Concession fee = $59.68, Customer Fee for airport pickup = $66, Road and Safety fee = $23, Misc Fee = $8. Total cost = $777.21 or $71/day.
I suggest other travelers avoid Denver Airport car rentals - and avoid Colorado for charging visitors this excessive amount of fees. I will do so.
